Can a Rioter in Player Behavior answer me a question?

Does Riot punish flamers harder than AFKers, yes or no?

From what I see, the answer is yes- 3rd ranked game in a row for me where someone either rage quit or AFK's. Never hear about people getting worse than a fucking slow-moving que for afking, where on the flipside if someone calls someone a fucker they get punished immediately. In what twisted world are people who say shitty things worse than people who actively troll and ruin the game for 9 other people? Fucking makes me sick

yes and no. The first few punishments a flamer gets is a 5-10 game chat restriction(unless the flamer used a zero tolerance word). after 10 game chat restriction the flamer gets a 14 day ban.

and an afker only gets 5-20 minute low priority que for 5 games. if the person afks in an extreme amount of games or if the person blatantly admits to afking they will get a 14 day ban. and idk this may be subjective, but i feel that a 5-10 game chat restriction is less of a punishment than a 5-20 minute low priority que.

there is a triggered person here ^ lol

the answer is YES< not to flamers getting punished HARDER than afks, but more frequent

afk can also happen due to disconnection or leave in emergency, if the person does not say why they left, then can assume DC or something important, if they are trolling or made it clear they will afk on purpose its a ban

flamers on the other hand CHOOSE to use the chat, and CHOOSE to type the words they want,

the chat < itself is the cause of most bans, So if you flame then yeah easy permas for you

Bans based on chat are the easiest to determine when something has been done wrong, which are why they seem to be the most prevalent.
