If someone flames during a match and gets reported he will get banned...but what about people who flame in champ select and then continue it after the match...and they would even add a person to say things like kys in a private chat...this way they still flamed and said what they wanted but not inside the match which makes them safe from punishment...is there anything to do about this?
If they do say those things in champ select or post game chat, you can still report them. The IFS as well as any Rioter can see all types of chat said in the game/client. It just wont show up if you do get punished and they give you your chatlogs. People assume because it isnt shown in your chatlogs that it isnt recorded by Riot.
i think that'd require some actuall review instead of letting an ai ctrl f profanity >never gonna happen
Champion select and post-game chat is logged. Both were recently added to the "chat logs" given to players through the punishment system.
