RIOT PLS ADD AN EARLY SURRENDER

I just played a match where 3 of my team mates disconnected before the game even started. Me and the remaining player where then forced to sit there for 15 minutes and wait for the enemy team to let the minions push.

The enemy team did not want to just push and let us out of the game because they were having fun "bullying us". That is exactly what they said when we asked them to just push mid. Your current surrender system is promoting toxic behavior similar to the match I was just in.

Your competing mobas (Smite, DOTA 2) both have systems where you can leave the game after 5 minutes of an ally being DCed. Why do you let your players go through matches like this where we know we are going to lose and yet we have to continue to pretend we are playing for up to 20 minutes because if we do not we will get punishments for being afk.

Please riot just give us a system that allows us to surrender sooner in the case of an afk or other game ruining occurences.

It sounds like testing is going to start soon for a remake feature on the PBE, which allows you to early surrender if a player never connected and no kills have occurred yet in game (only the DC and his premade will take the loss). Remember, the PBE is a place to test new things, and not everything makes it to live servers, though if it go through we can probably expect it in 6.10 or 6.11.

Im pretty sure the early surrender is suppose to combat games where someone doesnt connect right off the bat. Not trolls who are out to ruin the game from the start. I would assume as well that another player has to kill another player in order for it to register. It would be stupid to just have one kill because if the enemy sees this, one of them could just run up to the turret and have that count.
