Hey Tantram-senpai. I hope you're doing well. As the title in my post asks: why don't people who rage quit games get an account suspension? From my understanding, they receive Leave Buster penalties instead of having their accounts banned for a certain number of days. Is there a reason for this?
They actually do get penalized. In addition to LeaverBuster penalties, frequent AFKers/quitters are levied with additional penalties.
It's true that they will get a leaver buster penalty the first and maybe second time. However, if a player is shown to do this often, the punishment will often escalate appropriately. All we can do is continue reporting behavior like this and Riot will do the best they can to punish those who deserve it.

How do you actually know they Rage Quit? When you say quit , are you reffering to leaving / AFK a match OR Leaving the game entirly never to return?
Couldnt possibly be the (match) because there is a Mute All switch and a 5min AFK warning system that prevents venting on forums.
Ragequitters not only get punished, if they do it often enough they can and DO get perma banned.
i think the main reason why majority of leavers gets leavebuster... let me give you a personal example. in my entire lol time i got leavebuster 1 time. know why? my inet provider legit had problems and i sadly had to afk 5 games in a row. i REALLY wanted to play so yea. first and only time i got a leavebuster.
