PSA to parents

If you are foolish enough to let your children play this game before riot adds a parental control to remove chat, expect your children to be the subject of many situations where they may have done nothing wrong but still become the target of: vented anger frustration hate harassment blame and anything else that can be construed in the moments after a difficult, mind rending, half hour or more of grown people putting their effort into this and having to face loss.

this is not a game for children, and if you let them play expect to have to pay for counseling. [slayer-jinx-wink]

LOL

I had to go through therapy because of anxiety. Anxiety was made worse because of League. I went to therapy and had exposure therapy.

League is now the main reason why I am not anxious anymore.

I feel like a lot of parents probably don't even know their kids play the game. I don't know about you but I had a facebook at 12 and my parents didn't know. they didn't know about my aim for awhile or what games/sites I used really. It wasn't for lack of trying that they didn't know but I would flip to a new tab on a dime if i knew I was using something I knew my mother wouldn't like, and I only had to do that because my mom hated doors being closed. imagine a child who can close their door and is using a laptop they can put at 45 degrees instead of a desktop, its easy for them to hide something they're not supposed to be doing.

I believe in the opposite, letting young ones play the game allows them to grow thick skin. If we get more thick skinned people, we will finally get rid of this bullshit pc culture.

what i'm saying is that if children want to play they will find a way. it's not a game they buy in a store so parents dont even see it and therefore probably wouldn't even think about "considering" it for their kid. did your parents pick out your game sites when you were young? or just the games they had to pay for?

It's the "adults" playing this that are the problem [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Meh, the little kids that were going to be weirdos would be weird without video games.

All we had was Oregon Trail as a kid and we still had weirdos.

I have one of the weirdos from my Jr High on my facebook he's in a rugby league getting muddy as a 40 year old man and is still a straight weirdo.
