I just got chat restricted for calling out griefers

Your GP top refuses to touch the enemy GP top, even when your jungle ganks? Even when the enemy GP kills him?

Your Sona support afks behind the bot turret for 15+ minutes? Her duo top rages about your adc, as if there's anything he can do?

It's nice to see that griefers aren't punished, but, because they're so common, they can exact their vengeance upon people calling them out! It's okay to ruin games intentionally, and it's okay to duo with people ruining games intentionally. Just don't say anything about people ruining games intentionally.

It's a pretty sad state when your average player is more likely to be a griefer than someone reporting a griefer. Just wanted to shake my head for the record. Your community is human garbage.

Better yet, it's not just the idiots in games ruining games, its the self-righteous children taking part in the "tribunal" more reactive to "triggers" than "people ruining games."

[Edit:] Thanks for the downvotes. You show us all that the community is what you desire it to be. While I don't like griefers, at least you confirm that they're there by design. Everything is working as intended.

Two key lessons in Kindergarten: They started it, is not a valid justification for hostile behavior. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.

You were literally just punished for harassing people before you came and claimed that it doesn't happen. Chat harassment is simply more easily detected than gameplay. If someone is griefing with their gameplay, then report it and annotate what the report is for (that's why you get a comment box).

Starting an argument in chat does not help anybody, and most likely will escalate the situation.

I'm more interested in knowing how you called them out at this point. There is a right and wrong way. If you spend the game attacking them then you're just giving them and possibly your team a reason to report you as well. If you just say, "Hey man, can you please not feed / troll / whatever" then you're not going to get punished. I've tried to talk trolls and the like out of it plenty of times and never had a problem with being reported for it.

TLDR : What did you actually say to them?
