Unfair banns for negative attitude or harrasm

-Hello, everyone I was reading threads about unfair banns and I'm pretty sure (about 98 %) I know the answer - if it there's any people who weren't deserved to get a bann. I think my example will answer this question It is only theoretical, but im prettty sure it happened to some people.

  • Adam used to law playing league of legends, but he was toxic, he used to talk how people are bad, how they can't see enemies coming throught wards, becouse they weren't looking at the map and etc... Most of the time he were reported for negative attitude and some times for verbal. He had a lot warnings from tribunal, he even had banns for a few days, then for a few weeks, etc... Adam decited to stop being toxic, becouse he were aware of permabann. In one game he was trying very hard like he always do, but he just couldnt play that game well, he did a lot of mistakes. He got flamed by hes own team mates and even enemies team. After the game some member of hes team told everyone to report him, everyone agreed, even some members of the oposite team did. He got reported by 7 people, that was the last drop and he got permabanned.
  • In my opinion it would be naive to hope that tribunal analyses all games you played if you were realy toxic or not. It would cost a lot of time and money... P.S I want to hear other people opinions :)

I really like the discussion you're starting here! I hope this turns into a really productive thread.

The new Tribunal hasn't launched yet, but when it does, I think we may be able to evaluate this better. We need to see how things go with the new system before casting judgment on it. After all, how can you say something is bad without it existing yet? ;)

This actually just happened to me in aram :( the only difference is im never toxic and this ONE time i decided to speak up because the Shaco was attacking everyone on the team and then i noticed the significant difference in how everyone played. I honestly feel very uneasy right now because he/she got the whole other team to report, they had to lie in the process but convinced them and they agreed even tho they couldnt see chat. They also said thats what i get for speaking up, in their words for "talking sh----". never did i once swear or say anyone was bad. All i said was to please stop, no one on the team sucks. What made it even more sick was they added me after all that =_= most people are saying if this is the first time its happened i should have nothing to fear. but i still do, especially when the person reporting basically says "guess what? your screwed got everyone to report you" -sigh-

To what your saying i dont think it seems naive at all to really review weather the person has be toxic or not including the improvement from their behavior. I mean if they put so much hours into the game/money and have had months of them really trying to not be toxic anymore why not? everyone should be given a second chance :) but only in a perfect world. I know players i used to play with and just keep cussing at everyone. and since then, they all have stopped. they learned how nasty they were being. Sadly most of those friends dont play anymore because they do fear the false reporting, banning their accounts forever.

I wish i had a better understanding of tribunal. Gonna look at Nami and elduris's link! this is honestly the first time im posting because i get harassed in the game so much i really dont want to in the forums too. everyone seems nice here though. (after 20 mins, i finally get the courage to post this lool)
