Riot seems to be getting more strict with chat related bans.

I was leveling a smurf, and anyone whos ever done it before knows that you can get away with a LOT of shit during the early days of your account. in a match I played earlier today, I was being toxic, but when I received a 14 day suspension, I was suprised. my account was only level 19 I believe and you could argue people can get away with a lot worse. regardless, at the end of the day, I was toxic, and rightfully banned. which is a good thing, hopefully two week suspensions will give people like me an incentive to just mute people before its too late.

The lack of messages leads me to believe you were actually in your 25 game chat restriction when you got the ban. People that are consistently negative like that tend to get punished lol.

No, I wasnt. Ive never had a chat restriction ever. not even on my main. which is why I was surprised. they completely skipped over a chat restriction and just went to a 2 week suspension. its just a coincidence that I only typed in the chat 10 times this match. I asked a Rioter about this and this is what he said, "Are you aware that racism, homophobic slurs, offensive sexual terms and exceptionally derogatory terms are often treated immediately with a two week suspension, regardless of context or intent?" so yeah, that just confirms my original point with this thread.

No one has gotten an escalated punishment for a log like this, you're either not showing us the full logs or you said something a lot more offensive than this in the post game lobby...
