Seeing as blizzard fixed their cheater issue with this. Why not for the worst of the worst just ban the players pc all together? I mean I am hearing this being used more often with other companies. Hell its hard to get around to from what I hear. It also fixes the just making a new account to get around it thing.
You mean MAC address? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but MAC spoofing has been around for a while. I don't think a hardware ban would be effective.
You're hearing the wrong things then. I'd advise actually researching the topic and you'll see for yourself why it's not possible.

Won't work I just Spoof my hardware information and back in, along with IP obviously...
In fact I could go collecting other peoples hardware information of people asking for help posting the DXDiag files online and get them banned from League :3...
This is why people don't do it because there is actually a game company who tried this with a bunch of trolls before and it didn't do anything but enrage them more to the point where they lost lots of money :3.
