No rewards for starting at honor 2.3

I know I already made a post about this but I am genuinely concerned. I was honor 5 last season, you know, being honorable and all, and you would THINK you would get the rewards for refreshing as honor 2.3? But you get nothing, if I was at Tyler1's toxicity and got to honor 1 last season, I would get more rewards climbing up the honor levels than someone who was already more honorable to begin with.

Why should I be opted out of the rewards for being honorable?

The rewards for leveling to Honor 2 and each of the level 2 checkpoints would total out to three keys, if I'm reading correctly. Traversing Honor level 2 would take a while.

Starting at a higher checkpoint would earn the better checkpoint rewards faster, while also enjoying the better passive rewards accumulated through having higher honor. I can't imagine that missing those three keys from Honor 2 would be worth slogging through honor 1-2.3.

Edit: I'm also pretty sure, based on the wording in the patch notes, that Honor 5 people continue to earn "checkpoint" bonuses even though there are no checkpoints for them to earn. This means that they'll regularly receive those Honor 5 boosts of Honor 5 orbs, three fragments, and 250+ BE. Compared to the piddling 2 fragments per Honor 2 checkpoint, I can't imagine why anybody would want to start at a lower honor level. Higher honor levels start getting better rewards faster, and continue to get better rewards than lower-honor players indefinitely.

READ THE DAMN PATCHNOTES. they say quite clearly that you don't lose anything by starting higher because the reward checkpoint are better at lvl 5 and they keep stacking so you just keep getting better stuff and starting at honor 1 is alot harder to climb out of than doing the whole 2-5 journey
