That's why you put up a troll pick until its your turn to pick, like hover a Teemo jungle, if no one bans it originally then you atleast don't have trolls that will ban the pick. If they do ban it then don't show any pick until it comes your time to pick.

I'm pretty sure that if you pref your champ in Draft or ranked it won't let your team ban your champ and you cant ban in blind, so what they did was kinda troll but you could have stopped some of it.

You absolutely can ban a champ that someone else is hovering, ranked or not.

The only thing they do now is mark the champion and make you click them twice so you know you're banning a hovered champion. A friend of mine banned Blitz by mistake when a teammate of ours was hovering him.

Which makes perfect sense. If your ADC wants Twitch but they're last pick, you shouldn't have to suffer the enemy team having Twitch because you couldn't ban him.

In what world does this makes sense? There is only some chance that the enemy team will pick your teammate's hover champion, but if you ban it on purpose, you have 100% chance of a salty teammate that will at best play his non-ideal second pick (if he has one, we all know those one-trick ponies are out there) and at worst throw the game on purpose for everyone on your team.

In a world where Twitch is bustedly powerful and everyone knows it, so people who want to win are going to pick him?

You know. The world right now.
