Almost reached promos, Then dropped down by "God-tier" narcissists

Yeah So I am in ranked. Playing quite effectively as a Rumble support, racking up the wins and getting good scores with open minded players. and Then...Preschool gets out! Suddenly I find myself paired with Adcs who feel they are "God-tier" players. Who feel THEY know how everyone else should play, who everyone else should play, what everyone else should build. The most narcissistic, obnoxious, and entitled players ever. Had a Mid who had a tantrum because I wouldnt switch lanes with him so he fed the enemy till he was 1/13. Had an adc Who would constantly Dive into a 2v1 while I am just getting out of base, and then tell me how its my fault we lost.

I am really growing sick of the level of arrogance and entitled attitudes these players seem to have. They feel they know -everything- about league and so they will ignore any suggestions and then turn around and flame thier team. I am sure there are plenty of horror stories tht coud be told. But people seem to forget that this is a TEAM GAME. and that means ....wait for it.... ...ITS NOT ALL ABOUT YOU!!! There are 4 other players on the team. and it is these arrogant players who completely discount the rest of thier team. As far as these players are concened, the rest of thier team doesnt exist. The only time they will aknowledge thier team is if they need someone to blame or scapegoat.

STOP TRYING TO TURN LEAGUE INTO Call of Duty FREE FOR ALL! (Getting tired of hearing "1v1 me Bruh" in the middle of a ranked match. Or The "You must really suck, Took 2/3/4 to take me down!") The general attitude that using teamwork and working WITH your team rather than competing against them for "most kills" is seen as something to be frowned upon.

Yeah so because of people only concerned with thier own greed, thier own bravado, and generally acting like a preschooler having a tantrum because they didnt get the most cookies before naptime, I went from 96LP down to 19LP. and at this point, ready to just give up on ranked. I cant make it out of bronze because people think they are "god tier" so they have the privilage of being able to spit on everyone below them.

-Its cold and dark. The rain has become a light drizzle, but in the background you can still hear a low rumble of thunder off into the distance-

-Officer Utility Backline arrives on the scene- Utility Backline: What seems to be the issue? Thread Respondents: We have another mystery in Bronze5, the victim was attacked for marching to the beat of his own drum. UB: Heh. It isn't even parade season yet... When are these kids going to learn... -UB turns the body over Rumble - TR: Oh gawd -One of the Thread Respondents begins to puke- Its Keystone Mastery its -TR stops short of finishing his sentence as more vomit flies out- UB: Warlords... Storm Raiders... Jesus. Ranked did a number on this poor sap. TR: Looks like he was living a normal life running Thunderlords, something must have set him off... UB: And his builds. Never the same build twice. TR: Sir! Where is his item 2049 ? Oh gawd did his killers remove his item 2049 ?! UB: His build just does not add up; in 20 games it has changed 20 times. -A item 3070 rolls down the officers face- This poor bastard never stood a chance in ranked. He was just a misguided kid. TR: You think the inexplicable desire to be known in a unique way did this to him? UB: Unfortunately. History has a strange way of repeating itself... I remember back in Season 1 a young player who used to tell me Kayle was a top tier support. I never saw him leave 900 elo. TR: Sir... UB: Its fine. Its just been a long time since I have seen such anti-meta. I really thought these days would be behind the community now... its been 6 years. TR: What causes this desire to play something with little thought, strategy, or practice prior to entering ranked sir? UB: Its a sick self destructive mechanism that exists in the brain of a Bronze player. They see pros follow the meta and get girlfriends, money, fame, notoriety; these are things the Bronze care little for. They seek pain and suffering. They live for the thrill of almost winning a game averaging 17-30% kill participation to see it all ripped away... as they fall back into obscurity. TR: I have friends and loved ones in Bronze, what can I do to ensure this does not happen to them? UB: Tell them to play Janna . Its a utility backline champion that thrives off correcting the mistakes her adc makes. When they misposition and get jumped on she can save them with her entire kit,and turn the whole fight; also works very well during group phase and decent during lane phase.

The only time ill decline or get a bit salty about taking advice from someone is for a few reasons:

  1. They are feeding and are telling me what to do.

  2. They play substantially worse than I do.

  3. The way they are giving me advice is through yelling.

  4. When they are playing a Champion I main, below average, but are getting kills off kill stealing and adding nothing to a team fight, then acting arrogant.

Now I know when I say main, people look at my match history, see my kda and go ew, this guy is terrible. I just want you people to know that my kda doesn't matter because when I die to save a team mate, it is worth it if we can't get out, but if I die and they can, it was worth it. Better than giving a double. And yes I do buy Sightstone, but only if the game calls for one. If it doesn't I get other items, but if things change I switch immediately to a sightstone.
