Be careful about telling someone you are muting them
Apparently, some people find it exceptionally tilting when they can't insult you anymore. Below is a paraphrased version of the conversation that happened about 8 minutes into the game:
Him: dies to camille gank Him: Voli, she was there [in mid bush] for 2 minutes and you didn't come? Me: I was behind after getting no leash and dc'ing for a bit [internet issue, was only 10 seconds] Him: You are ahead in CS. lul silvers Me: I'm gold 2 Him: Not in jungle you aren't Me: I have over 100 games as jungle Kench Him: One minute later dies to another camille gank Him: Might as well just move on to the next match, its a 4v5 Me: I'm just going to mute you, stop typing and start playing
He then proceeds to attempt to troll me by following me around in my jungle and attempt to steal camps, but I smite steal all of the large monsters away. He goes and clears the bottom half of my jungle while I look to gank top. Late game he refused to group and just sat around split pushing top lane while the enemy was taking inhib turrets.
And of course, in the post game lobby he acts like he was a good kid the entire game; "GG, I hope you do well in your next game Sire". I just wanted him to focus less on typing and more on playing, but instead telling him I was muting him was enough to tilt him so hard he had to do handstands to move.
