...the list goes on. Also, it's important to note that Lobby Chat is still part of the game, and that the behavioral rules for League are not only in effect while you are in-game, but rather whenever you are using the League service.
Chermorg6 votesUm? Most games don't really even have pre/post game lobbies, and of those that do, I can't name a single one that doesn't review behavior in them. Overwatch, HOTS, most of the battle royale games - all of them you can find cases where players were punished based on their pre-game communications or after-game communications.

Kokua3 votesYour chat behavior pre, during, and post game are all held accountable for, and that's how it should be. People often think that the game is over and is no longer being tracked, and therefore they're free to rage against others as much as they'd like. I'm glad that's not the case.

Hethalean3 votesWhile there is something to be said about the PC culture (which is trying to get governmental change), I'm ok with Riot enforcing people not being absolute shit shows on their game (as they are right to do as a private company). It's a game where the environment is supposed to be enjoyable.
There is a slight difference I feel. You have the right to free speech, but that doesn't protect you from private entities kicking you off of their property (in this case, your account off their servers). It is called the 'Right to Refuse Service', and if Riot thinks that it is more financially rewarding for them to enforce a community without as many raging people with the inability to regulate their own emotions, then I'm all for having fun in that environment. I come here to unwind, and not see people behave like they never figured out how to handle themselves or manage their expectations.

As I'd mentioned in another thread you'd made. It's not a "now" thing, Pre-game and post-game lobby screening has been done for ages.
It's just that the reform card used to not show the pre-game and post-game chat even if that's the reason for your ban (this is how some of the "I got falsely banned" thread came from, as well as the ever popular myth that pre-game and post-game chat are not looked at), until it's finally fixed to proper display the pre-game and post-game chatlog now.

There is also a difference between being an asshole and being competitive. Same thing that there is a difference between "PC" and simply having some ground rules.

Having you suspended or banned seem legit as you're already showing signs of toxicity even before the game starts. Typical crybaby....blaming others while you shot yourself on the foot first.

You're just one angry guy among thousands of sane ppl. But you'll get over it. I don't even see the problem of taking into account post/pre game lobby. It hasn't changed anything for most players because we are not toxic at all lol
