Should have I been Flamed and Reported?

So I was playing jungle and our fed a , dieing several times then quit. So I had to sit mid farming under tower...which gave the enemy jungler free everything...

Once the enemy team started to group I simply just couldnt tank against without having to leave the fight early or die.

In the end I went 0/6/4 with 7k gold, and had over 15k and i was flamed at by our 7/6/6 for not having any kills, whenever I tried saying I was supposed to be a tank he would complain saying that I`m bad and not to make any excuses then continued to curse me out.

I mean...sure my assists were low because literally all I could do was go in and knock the enemy up then leave with 10% hp left while they chased the enemy....but am I supposed to take kills as or any other champ thats meant for pealing? I even took the most damage on my team by far and got away with wasting the enemy teams skills multiple times.

Was the right? Because this wasn`t the first time I was flamed at for having only assists.
