For all those wrongfully perma banned for 3rd party programs

I created this thread because like the others ive seen the past week or so ive also been wrongfully banned for 3rd party programs. After reading through others topics i think ive found a correlation between all of us. Razer synapse. This is the only program ive seen in common with my own circumstances and the other players. Now i might be wrong about this so for all of you who have created topics about being banned for 3rd party programs please comment and let me know if you do indeed have this program installed. If this program is somehow causing a false positive then i would hope a Riot employee would look into this. But first we need to see if this correlation is actually there. Also if you know you actually did use some kind of script or hacks then this thread isnt for you.

I would still submit a ticket with this suggestion, but yeah, that sounds like a promising lead. I hope that all of you get the bottom of it and get your accounts back.

I actually already did yesterday but they again just sent me a copy pasted response. Hoping a passing rioter will see this and at least look into it.

I have tried to link the thread in my support ticket but I only got the copy paste response back.

I really do feel like there is no way to defend yourself here, no one ever seems to get more then an autoreply when it comes to these types of bans. Only hope is higher up rioter to find this thread and take a more in depth look at the matter. But as ours seems to be a rather niche case effecting a few users its worrying.

Yup they closed my ticket, I even attempted for them to look into this thread as I linked it. Everyone knows they have horrible support, they are now just taking it as a challenge accepted to one up even that remark. It's atrocious

same here, casual player of urf, 6-7 year old account. Random perma after this recent urf event, never used anything remotely abusive of their TOS. Also running Razer synapse

I was wrongfully banned for 3rd party programs, not because of Razer Synapse but, I had a rhythm game named Osu! opened in the background which prompted a screen that didn't allow me to join a League of Legends game after the champ select. I believe this seemed to be detected as a script or hack. It seems like there are more programs than one that is able to get you banned.

Same thing here, I even mentioned every running app I had to them in my ticket and that was one of them. I have a razer mouse and keyboard obviously you need the synapse for drivers. But if it sheds any light. I don't have anything else set in synapse for macros on either the keyboard or mouse.

Yea I didnt even realise that razer synapse had a macros option until i saw someone else post about it from an old thread. Thanks for your response.

Razer synapse isn't a problem or at least I've not been punished for it :D

Yea but that doesnt mean there arent circumstances where it could cause problems. Also you may have never been reported for scripting by other players which means riot never started looking at your account.

I have had Razer synapse since 2013 as that's when I purchased the deathadder 2013 mouse. So while I agree that shouldn't be the issue there has been numerous cases where a driver update etc has flagged antivirus programs etc. And as often as razer synapse tends to update it would not surprise me in the least that recent update is getting flagged. This is why I wish riot would actually tell us WHAT got us flagged, because things like these could easily pop up and be resolved instead of just assuming everyone is guilty. And yup still fighting for my account legitimately

You don't need to be reported for scripting for riot to scan your system your system is scanned alot without your knowing you installed their software, they scan their software, when flags are flipped because something is changing software riot can investigate already knowing you tripped a scripting/botting flag. I've been reported for just about everything, my account has been scanned several times by now.(My friends and I report each other because why not, we're not breaking rules, but when one of us gets banned for it, Man will we have a laugh)

Ooh, I had razer synapse and got banned like a year ago. Since early season 2, never did anything of the sort at all but oh well.

They literally told me it wasn't that though, after a ton of them saying they couldn't tell me that. That said, given how on every false-ban case all of the player behaviour people say they've checked, I'm pretty sure they don't know anything after all.

Only hope of it working is to somehow get this thread enough traction that a big name looks into it though.

Same here.

Casual player using single account for around 4 years mostly Normals/Aram/Featured game mode.

I do have Razer Synapse running along with Overwolf, Curse (for wow addons), Mumble, and Occasionally Discord.

Checked my account last Friday and found I had got suspended. Only have one generic response from support. Unsure what to do.

I have sentimental value to my account and I don't want to just start a new one, and even if I did there no guarantee I wont just get banned again by whatever triggered the first one.

Hoping this thread gets noticed.
