Incorrectly Perm Ban for Scripting / Malicious software ( Please read mirageofpenguins )

I have recently been sent an email from Riot games stating that I have used malicious software and my account has been banned. I have not used any exploits / macro's / scripts or unauthorized third party programs in League of Legends or any other software to provide a competitive advantage. I have had this account since Beta and it was moved to the OCE servers from NA. During this 5 year period I have never once been accused of using hacks / scripts etc.

In addition to this I have never loaned my account to anyone for "boosting" or otherwise so the option of someone else using scripting on my account isn't an option either. This can be easily verified by the log of the IP addresses you would keep for when people are connecting to your servers.

The only things I have done recently ( 2 ~ 3 weeks ) is migrate my OS to a SSD and because of that I had to move the install directory of LOL to a different drive which meant I cleaned up the install and deleted log files from 5 years ago. As I am not sure what "Triggered" the ban, this is one of a few options that I could think of that may have cause the false identification of my account for a ban.

Now I have tried to address this via the Ticket system that riot has but only gotten a scripted cut and paste response and it is obvious no one has even cast an eye over my issue.

I am more than happy to supply screen shots of background processes / applications etc to prove that I did not and have not used hacks. In addition to this can also provide details of other players who have had similar length of play as I have and have never been accused of scripting etc that I do not hack / script.

Now I am asking you to look into this matter mirageofpenguins as I have seen from other posts you appear to actually investigate these claims and too that end I have no doubt that you will not find evidence of what I have been accused of and will be able to easily identify the reason of the incorrect ban.

damn right they don't care because they have a lot of players and make money still so whats losing a player who already spent money that they cant get back gonna do cry about it? riot doesn't care about anyone because they haven't changed anything they said they would Garen

I hate to admit it but the more and more I am trying to get my account unbanned the more I am tending to agree with you. There is a player from the EU and it seems as though he is in the same situation I am but he has been banned for 4 months not 1 week. They just want to do mass bans and try and get rid of hackers and ignore any innocent people that get caught in the middle.

and you are right because they just wanna throw people away and look at what they do they dont refund you anything because you bought their stuff and they keep it on file so they can keep the money and you cant get that name back you are permanently banned and their company is passive aggressive but the creators of league arent ITS RIOT GAMES they dont want to help us they just ban and put us in queues with similar reports so its easier for them to ban people i figured this out when i studied it for 3 months i cant stand riot games ~~#bringbackleagueseason2~~ Garen

Thanks for that. I just hope that Riot realise that no system is perfect and that they are always going to get false positives which is definitely the case here.

Look your best chance is sending another support ticket, and keep doing that until you get your case solved if you ever do. I up voted this thread, but this post are not very popular hence why you are sitting at 1 up vote now.

Thanks for the advise. I will do that as well. One of the main reason why I want my account back is so that I can stay in touch with the friends I have made over the 5 years of playing LOL. It is annoying to have the friends and account with skins etc taken away for something I haven't done.

Yeah Tinlegs - have played with you a lot.. I know for a fact you dont use scripts etc - I hope riot fix this for you mate. I would say that moving everything and fiddling with the directory has triggered this as - having played quite a few with you -= there is no way any opposition summoner could think you use scripts... point in fact - your annivia walls ... ;)

To be honest, find a new game, you will want to grind back to 30, want your rune pages back, you will spend money on RP, etc etc. If they truly unjustly banned you, please take this as a sign from the universe to actually move on.

I am not joking, if your friends are all doing this, find something new, become the kid that finds his own thing to do, people will want to join in time.

To be honest In the end if they don't remove the Perm ban from my account I won't bother with playing LOL and leveling up from 30 again. Because I had that account for 5 years I have every champ and almost every rune etc. It also had alot of links to friends that I met and made through LOL for which I don't have other contact details for. It seems a shame to loose all that with out atleast fighting for it. Even more so when I know I didn't cheat and Riots "system" has incorrectly Identified my account has an "abuse" account.
