Jungler Etiquette?

So I recently started jungling again. I havent jungled since season 2 and I have been playing Evelyn as my JG champ.

NOTE: I JUST started. Like, 3-4 games on Eve.

And I've noticed something, and I'm starting to wonder... why the fuck is everyone taking my camps? Last game my Heimer, literally, took my red camp while I was at my blue camp. I was only level 2, and I see this guy just hopping along by me to bot lane. So, that completely screwed my first jg clear.

So respawn, I'm top to help gank, getting scuttle, etc--there's Heimer again, TAKING MY BLUE. I ask him what he's doing, why, whats going on--nothing. Says nothing. Maybe he's behind? So I go bot, I'm lvl 6, why not, they're pushed in, enemy low, ez double with a Heimer, right?

I go in, bada-bing bada-boom--aaaaaaaand Heimer is literally just auto attacking under tower and isn't there to finish up Ashe and Soraka. Hasn't moved. And "support" Aphelios is no where to be found because, oh look, he's farming my wolves in my jg.

Has jungle recently changed to the point where I dont even get my own dang camps anymore? Like I literally had to start stealing minion waves between my teammate's deaths, or I had to constantly invade the enemy JG.

I main support for the most part, but it's gotten boring and I just wanted to try something new. But the past few games this has been the typical behavior, my team just stealing my JG camps--and it's not even late game, its literally like before lvl 10. If it's late game, its a free-for-all I don't care then, but I'm still trying to get my footing here.

Has JG changed that much that I just have to give my camps away? Any JG tips would be appreciated, I haven't played the role in years to begin with.

I used to main jungle. Gave up after the trash changes. Now I'm an adc/support main.

This is general etiquette. if I'm playing jungle, and one of my laners steals my camps, you bet your ass I'm gonna come to their lane, tax two waves and smite their cannon minions. If they steal a BUFF (and it isn't a red buff on the adc or blue buff on an actual mana hungry midlaner 25 minutes in) then I'll probably just tax four waves. It isn't even that I have anything against the laner at that point - if I want to stay even slightly even in xp with the enemy jungler, I need to do that.

If I'm laning and my jungler comes to my lane, takes my wave and smites my cannon FOR NO GOOD REASON (no failed gank, nothing), then you can assure He won't be seeing his bot side jungle anytime soon (assuming i'm playing adc). I had one infuriating game where my jungler came and taxed THREE WAVES from me. AT LEVEL FOUR. LEVEL. FUCKING. FOUR. He then started flaming me for being behind in cs. That was when I decided that he didn't deserve to have a bot side jungle for the rest of the game.

Because good sir that is the life of a jungler. You know a movie scene when the guy puts his jack on the ground so that lady doesn't have to walk in a bunch of water? We my friend are that jacket. Not only do we protect our team and cover their mistakes but we also get thrown under the water so your team can keep their shoes dry.

Your question was why is everyone taking your camps, and then the whole essay is about one single asshole Heimerdinger.

Hmm, I'd advise not thinking of them as yours. It is general etiquette to not take the camps, but that tapers off more quickly now since games are generally shorter. Also, top lane now tends to level fastest, while bot is even slower than before. Junglers are also slower due to XP of jungle dropping, if I remember correctly, to discourage farming a little.

The JG rotation is different now, counter jungle is common. Take their camps, but with awareness of where their JG is. Warding is more important but more distributed, even go as far as requesting a ward from mid or top to help find the enemy JG. Last tip I have: ganking is part of rotations now, shunting level 6 junglers behind (like Shyvana).
