Can we remove the ability to ban a champion another player on your team has already shown?

Of course I understand not having the bans work only one way, banning your opponents but allowing you to still play it, but even still you often get players accidentally banning other player's champions or troll banning, which leads to the classic "flash+ghost+run it down mid" type of attitudes. I play a fair bit of AP Kog'Maw mid, M7 without more than a single AD game, but I still cannot show Kog'Maw pre-bans because about every other game someone will attempt to ban it out from under me.

Simply make the champion unclickable in the banning phase if someone has already locked that champion in prior.

this issue does not need fixing

bans have always had priority over picks

if you have last pick and I have first ban, and the pick you have hovered is maybe a new hero that's still OP broken, maybe its a hero that I know just beats my ass every time I play against him. You can bet i'm banning that guy every time, no matter if he's hovered or not. And in no world should I or anyone else be punished for doing so.

There are 146 champions in this game. Pick another one.

So I lock yasuo, them don't pick him and you don't get to ban him. It trades one troll for another.

Teemo is annoying but it just seems like a ban waste... I don't ban my teammate's picks out of courtesy but now that I think about it, if I hover above Darius, would my teammates be less likely ban him? Just let me lane against him, you're not even top. I don't hover above champions I'm going to use so my teammates don't ban them, especially if they're less popular picks like Yuumi. Honestly, you should probably do the same. Kog'Maw is such a random ban, highly doubt you'll see people banning him unless someone is spying on your profile.

Not everything is an issue that needs to be fixed. Draft pick is set up this way by design because bans come before picks.

And what is to stop me from hovering a "must pick" champion to prevent it from being banned, thus ensuring the enemy team has first pick to pick an OP champion?

You can always play another champion if it is banned. If other people are banning your champions, it's likely because you're not taking the time to explain to them. Get into lobby and say "yo, I have an X winrate as this, it's really good -mid/late/whatever- game and does a lot of -cc/damage/whatever-".

Keep in mind that they have the right to say "yo, I don't want to play with this champion in my game". Their right to ban it supersedes your desire to play it. Period.

Normally people just dodge and wait out the 5 mins if teir champ they hovered get banned the other most of the time they run it down mid it's a way to spice up the game lol

If the champion is way too OP in current meta and thr person who wants to play it is last pick and the person who is first pick wont trade with him , i will ban this champion because i dont want to play agains him.

Nope. Players should always be allowed to ban whoever they want, as long as bans are a thing.
