I understand the zero tolerance policy and saying "f a gs" clearly tags me but im going to go ahead and say that 14 day suspension is a little absurd and overboard. I had a trio that sat in our fountain for idk 5 minutes spamming their ults while the enemy took our towers and inhibs. Oh did i mention they didnt get suspended, maybe a slap on the wrist idk, id like to know why or when Riot is going to penalize the root of the toxicity to the people causing it, obviously there are exceptions and im not saying i shouldnt be penalized for saying "f a g" hell if you want to get technical, i was talking about the bundle of sticks that were sitting in my base. a simple chat ban wouldve been acceptable but this is just outrageous

It wasnt because of the trio. It was due to the homophobic slur you threw out at the end and the either homophobic slur or telling someone to end his life in the middle. If you think its absurd, then maybe this isnt the game for you. If you still want to play the game then think about not using chat anymore. Riots doesnt want this stuff in their game. You either play by their rules or you dont play.

"Or telling someone to end his life in the middle" i never told anyone to end their life, i literally said f a g twice, youre level 44 so im going to assume youve been playing for a while, i dont think you understand what is said in just about every single game, i see people that swear and use derogatory terms every day on this game and they dont get banned. kinda weird? People who arent pulling their weight are the cause of toxicity, that game is 30 minutes of my life that was not enjoyable, why should i be banned when that trio wasted my time, thats 30 minutes im not getting back, is my time less valuable then theirs? why are they not banned? youre clearly looking at the wrong aspect of this, i didnt harass someone for being a f a g? i said f a g, there is a difference right there. youre telling me a chat ban wouldnt have been enough for me?

How do you know they dont get banned How can you tell from a single comment what i do and dont understand in my games Your time isnt less valueable than theirs, but them doing something bad doesnt justify you doing something bad. All cases get looked at seperatly. If you reported them their behaviour will get looked at and punished accordingly. %%% is a word with some really bad historical background. Its euqivalent to the n-word. If you used it in a restaurant multiple times you would likely get thrown out aswell.

oh it has a bad historical background? so does Riot just assume i know everything? what if i said "dork" that means penis, and if googled it clearly says that it is a vulgar term, does that mean that if i call someone a dork i should be banned? if every single person was banned for saying something vulgar this game would not be as big as it is. im not saying we have to use vulgar words im saying that everyone has said it at some point in time, where does the line end?

The word %%%got comes from bundle of sticks, homosexuals used to get burned like witches but since they werent even deemed worthy of a stake they were burned on bundles of sticks. They dont ban for vulgar words. They punish for herassing others and they instantly ban for using words that are used to attack entire groups of people or encourage selfharm.

Okay? thanks for the history lesson, so are some words acceptable while others are not? if i called someone a fool is this worthy of a ban? the synonym for fool is idiot, you can look at that in any way you want to, i could be saying that they are uninformed or i could be saying that they are mentally stupid which itself would be attacking an entire group of people would it not?

You should be able to know with common sense which words are bannable and which are not.

The term fool is a lesser version of idiot. Idiot is no longer used to describe someone mentally ill, that hasn't been it's use for a very long time.

It's insane that it has to be spelled out for you.

It doesnt have to be spelt out for me, i understand it fully, but that doesnt mean everyone else understands, i just said where does it end, am i supposed to keep an updated list of words that im not allowed to say? is it going to get to the point where i say one wrong thing and im perma banned, just because youre a keyboard warrior doesnt mean you have to be an ass and question my knowledge, to add, it doesnt matter when the term idiot was used to describe someone refer to a the earlier posts when History teacher timethief said it has a bad historical background

Generally common sense can tell you what words are OK and what isn't. The list of things Riot has a 0 tolerance policy over is very short. Hatespeech and telling people to kill themselves are the only things strictly 'not allowed'.

And you wouldn't have this problem if you just didn't flame. Keep positive.

At this point: Yes. Even the slightest negativity after a 14 day ban can get you permabanned. If you are frustrated, whatever you do, do not let it out on anyone ingame. you'll get permabanned.

If you have a clean record then you can be negative without being scared so much, but after a 14 day ban you are on a close watch. For now, it's your last chance.

Eventually your record will become clean. Estimating a timeframe for this isn't possible.

Using any form of hate speech in League is very much so absurd and overboard. There is absolutely no place for it and there's no reason for you to have used it. Trying to pass it off as if you were not using it in the offensive way, while you make it very clear you knew it would be interpreted that way - that does not bode well for your case.

Your suspension is not likely to be removed. Take this as a stern warning that hate speech (and toxicity in general) are not acceptable in League. Your next offense of any kind - even "mild" toxicity, will likely result in a permanent suspension of your account. I strongly recommend you stop being negative in game to avoid that possibility.

Your attempted justification for using hate speech leads me to believe it won't be long until the 14 turns into a perm.

No one should have to tell you that using hate speech in mixed company is a terrible idea. Likewise, giving you a chat ban would insinuate that the speech is on pair with normal toxicity, which it isnt.

You don't have to go into a diatribe for it to be helpful. The word itself is hateful, and is why it is a zero tolerance word. It is not the same as "stupid". I also like how you said you aren't attempting to justify it, as you have continued trying to justify the use.

However, it is clear no one is getting through to you. So by all means keep using it in mixed company. If Riot doesn't teach you it isn't acceptable someone IRL will.
