PSA: The Big Picture of account punishments

Riot does not need a reason to ban you. Terms of Use explains futher.

It literally does not matter if your punishment is the most unjust thing in the world. Riot is the sole authority in regards to your account status.

Systems like IFS and leaverbuster, are merely tools Riot uses to profile players. Riot is not obligated to reverse punishments of even a faulty system.

` This knowledge has influenced my time in league a few ways.

I will not type in the client. (In game or out of game chat)

I will not use any third party software related to league.

I will not dodge in champion select or AFK in game.

I will not honor or report.

` I believe I have met all guidelines for a forum post in this subsection. I beg you to leave this thread alone forum moderators.

You seem to imply that Riot punishes chat on a whim. I've personally never been given a chat restriction, and I chat all the time. They encourage you to use chat to form constructive strategy. Teams that communicate more towards winning have a higher chance to win.

But this is common knowledge, as it is clearly spelled out in the Terms of Use. And everyone playing the game has provided legally-binding acknowledgement that they have read and understood the agreement in its entirety, so it isn't a surprise, right?
