I think this should be punished as much as "toxic" chat

So we get person call top lane. All is good. This lil girl then says, "idgaf I'm top" and instalocks Akali. Then, in lane, she literally lets the tower hit her 2-3 times before minions spawn and sits just outside of range of it, waits for enemy to come, and lets them kill her. Then just continually dies. Legit says in chat that they are doing it on purpose. Why isn't this as strictly punished as "toxic" chat?

Because we don't have an AI (Artificial Intelligence) that is smart enough to tell if someone is trolling without being toxic in chat. That's why we NEED the tribunal back, people can just watch the stats, the places where everyone died and all those infos you get from the match history and just vote for the punishment.

because dying on purpose is not toxic, but intentional feed.

You can do whatever makes you happy, but as one gamer to another, you've got to stop focusing on the bad and start focusing on the good. If all you see is negativity, and it makes you angry, there is no real reason to play this game and you should find a more productive hobby.

Petitioning for stricter, or harsher punishment on people for behaving poorly is one step ahead of becoming the toxic player.

Play some ARAM, dust yourself off, and get back out there and win some epic games.
