A friend of mine doesn`t want to play with me because whenever we do we get teammates who are toxic / don't group or help the team in general. I have noticed this issue a lot whenever I duo with someone in normal / ranked but can it also be specifically me?
I've actually noticed a similar trend in my own experience. I get solid (enough) teams when I run solo. But the second I try to play with a duo, I find the worst of the community. Doesn't matter if I'm playing with my fellow Bronze friends or with my Coach in Gold. Playing with friends gets me punished.
So, my friends and I don't group much anymore.
Pretty sad when a game actively punishes you for playing with friends haha. The game considers a duo queue an "advantage" and places you against higher elo enemy teams, in turn making the team "stuck" with the duo queue already more toxic. What riot doesn't realize is...unless you're a duo queue that is challenger duo in silver smurfs, there is no advantage. 2 Silver friends duoing should not mean you have to beat Gold III's to win, but what do I know.
yep same I duo and get matched with gold players.
I have been the only bronze player in solo games and have to match against silver and gold and even plat there is no elo system in LOL.
it is broken and never did work.
