Why can't we report people for targeting?

As in, being a complete asshole and trying to make the enemy player tilt. I just played a game, i was fighting kayle top, I went mid since I couldn't win, kayle followed me, warwick repeatedly camped mid and focused me all game, wherever I was kayle and warwick would follow. When I asked them why they said "it's because you main fiora" SORRY if I find a champion fun! It honestly ruined my game because kayle could go under turret and 3 shot me with warwick right there tanking, I went back top, they were there, I went mid again they were there. I even went bot, they were there. I get focusing someone for victory but focusing someone really hard just because of who they play is downright rude.

edit: I was not fed, or ahead, or in late game, in fact I was 0/2/0 when they started focusing me edit #2: I wasn't able to push, they literally hunted me down all game, they didn't care if i was under turret or not they still killed me

edit #3: looking back, I can see why this got downvoted, and I understand how it can be a strategy, but the only reason why they did it was because I mained fiora :I

Focusing is an in-game strategy, and while it may not be fun to be on the receiving end, there is no basis on which to report or punish someone for it. The most I can say is try to ward more, don't push without teammates, or play around their focusing to bait teammates across the map so your teammates can sneak objectives.

they didn't just focus though, the literally hunted me down, they were fed enough to where my team couldn't even splitpush, it was kayle and warwick hard to bait when they can destroy your team when fed. I'm no longer tilted and i've cooled down, but it still makes me feel like crap.

Even so, it is a legitimate strategy the enemy team is completely within their right to do. It's a part of the fundamentals of the game, which is something Riot can't simply start punishing people for. If they were verbally attacking you to cause the tilt I'd understand, but focusing your character to die first in a fight can't exactly be considered griefing or harassment.

Except they didn't focus me to further the game in any strategical way, they simply focused me cause I mained fiora

Either way, focusing you in a game where you're suppose to kill the enemy is not griefing, nor is it toxic. Simply making one comment about what you main isn't a warrant for a ban or punishment, unforunately.

If it was every person except like 5% of the community would be banned for joking about Yasuo mains tbh.

I understand how odd it sounds, me whining about being killed in a game where you're supposed to be killed, but sometimes people do stuff like that to make players tilt, and some players tilt hard enough to the point of inting, or like me, it just ruins the rest of their day. I've calmed down now, I just don't see why people do stuff like that, sure, I dislike a lot of champions, but I don't hate people for maining them, I joke around sure, but I don't actually do anything.

Hunting down a specific target to shut them down is a legitimate strategy. Focusing an ADC shouldn't be reportable. Focusing a late game champion shouldn't be reportable. It's just part of the game. Sometimes you get focused and sometimes you don't. You have to learn how to play around this happening.

Legitimate strategy. Kill the enemy. If you're being targeted by 2 players on the enemy team then keep in mind those are two people are AREN'T able to focus on other objectives. Try to stay safe and keep them busy. While they're trying to get to you, your team has more freedom to gain an advantage elsewhere.

When I'm play top, I'm perfectly fine with getting camped. Oh come on over enemy jungler, have some smores. I can play safe and freeze lane near turret so if they really want to get to me, they HAVE to dive. Most of the champs I play as,(like Cho, Garen, Yorick, etc) are strong enough that unless they're super low health then even 2 man diving is risking.

I'll let my team know that I'm getting camped and to push the advantage elsewhere. "Push mid and bot, jungler isn't going to gank" "Go invade jungler, theirs is just hanging out at tribush here" lalalala I'm Cho, I have sustain and just care about getting big keep camping me jungler, rush in and have some stoneplate cheese.

Find a way to turn it around.

Oh poor little thing..you got camped? That must have been hard:/ .do you want some sweet chocolate? 1st rule:if you see someone crying like you,focuse him to death because his tears may prevent him to see anything. Man the fuck up

It is a legitimate strategy. It sucks, But its NOT REPORTABLE. In order to get the upper hand, you need to choose who you are going to target. If a person gets too many kills? You focus them to slow their roll want to cripple the enemy team, Focus their HEALER

This then has 1 of 2 responses. If you can fend for y ourself and hold them off? great. Your team can use the distraction (if they are smart enough, which isnt likely) to push the other lanes. or B ) Your team comes to your aid and helps set up ambushes. If you KNOW they are gonna focus you, ask for help. But with this game the players are too greedy and self-centered to work as a team. So guess you are pooched.

Either way, its a legit strategy on a TEAM game (watch me laugh) and is NOT REPORTABLE. Nor will it ever be.
