How to become the tilt-proof god (or just reform)
Read and follow this and you will become such an unsalty player in general that people will call you pepper (?)
So to begin, I'm gonna start off with why I quit league of legends.
Why am I saying this?
~~~When it comes down to it, league is just a game. It may be one of the most played games in the world, but it is just a game. Some people really do just get tilted from league, and many other games. _It is natural to hate to lose._ That doesn't make league not fun, and that doesn't mean you have to quit altogether. I chose to quit league only because I deemed myself incapable to reform, and that it is better for me to come back to the community when I'm not the garbage that makes the league community infamously toxic to outsiders.
Don't quit league, un-tilt and reform. In any situation from tilted after a game to consistently toxic when someone says something toxic to you, do this:
1. Something as simple as a deep breath or a quick exercise can easily untilt
2. **_/mute all_** or just muting the toxic person (including pings if needed). It takes no effort, but is 100% effective
3. Un-tilt with some non-ranked, or better yet, aram/rotating game mode games
4. THERE ARE OTHER GAMES OUT THERE! Play something else for a while.
5. Get your mind off the game, and look for an escape
*** If you get chat restricted, temp banned, or even permabanned for toxicity, be happy that the system works, and use it as an opportunity. I recommend not playing the game until you can be completely okay with not just losing even if you yourself did very good, but also being able to ignore other toxic players in the game. When someone is toxic to you, that is just about the biggest trigger to be toxic back. An easy fix is as simple as typing /mute all at the beginning of the game, or muting someone's pings when they spam you. You can also just not say anything back, or even just throw back a funny joke in return.
League of Legends really is a fun game. There is a reason that it is the most played. Getting "salty" is okay, but flaming others or trolling is not. Everyone gets tilted at some point, and getting un-tilted is perfectly fine. Personally I will not come back to League until I absolutely know I won't be the community toxic waste, but these steps are all just part of the process to becoming a better summoner on the fields of justice.
