3 levels, you got 2850 worth of champion shards if you disenchant all of those (possibly slightly more around 3k if you had an extra poppy like I think i'm reading).
It takes about 8-12 games to level up. Thus your "IP rate" is around 100 IP per game, which is actually slightly higher than you'd expect for the average game pre-preseason (and before the bug where they messed with numbers before the preseason changes hit inadvertantly).
If you were to upgrade some of those champions to permanents, presuming you did not own any of them at all, you would lose the BE from disenchant, but you'd easily earn that back from the BE you'd save by upgrading vs buying in store.
All in all, I think your post proves quite well that the math is in the players' favor in that the vast majority of players will be earning champions faster than they did before.
I'm missing your point here.
I've leveled 4 times and never got a shard for a champ above 4800. if your looking to get a 6300 shard from leveling, i don't think its going to happen.
Doesn't seem like the best place for this.
well, if you have all the champs already, then re-roll 3 of them to get yourself a champ that you don't own already.
