A common misconception here on the Boards is that intentional feeders are never punished.

Unfortunately, no system is without it's flaws and the IFS is no different. There will always be some cases where offenders slip by undetected and we shouldn't shy away from that fact. However, the large majority of them are detected and punished properly, and that's what I'd like to call attention to with this thread.

Introducing the "I didn't int!" megathread.

I'm not entirely sure who created this list in the first place but when I find out, I'll edit the post and give them credit. As of right now, sources point towards Prandine being the mastermind behind it.

Click on any of the links below to be taken to a case where a user was properly banned for intentionally feeding or griefing. Some friendly reminders:

Please don't necro (comment on) any of the posts linked below. It clutters the recent feed for other users.
In the rare case that some of these users still use the Boards, please don't harass or antagonize them for their mistakes. Let sleeping dogs lie.

This post changes nothing,you have 2 lists put up there with people who bothered to post on the boards about their punishments.You are trying to convince others that the system is not entirely useless (which totally is to a certain extent) but you fail to take into consideration that nowadays,almost every game has a player who ints or soft ints and almost never gets punished.You fail to take into account that the system is fundamentally flawed and that Riot didn't bother to make it better throughout those years.If i am to make an estimation,90% of bans are issued for toxicity and the remaining 10% for inting,and for obvious inting,like going disco nunu or 0/24.Soft inting is virtually undetectable and is the leading cause of toxicity.I don't want to insult anyone,but sometimes I wonder if people like you even play the game.It doesn't take more than 10 games to even realize how bad this system is.

So instead of doing something about the downvoting bots,you post here with the intention to defend a useless reporting system that riot doesn't even care about.It's just beyond me how someone can be this absurd.And since players are complaining about having their games ruined by trolls day by day,it's pretty clear the system is broken.It's just laughable at this point,you kicked ChickenWrap out of the mod team,and now you are living in a delusion while almost every post has at least 30+ downvotes.Finally,the state of the boards matched the state of the game,horrible.

What is even the point of your thread ? What is the point of showing obvious cases that deserve ban ? Showing that the bot can detect a 1/17 feeding nunu ? I bet you do not understand what the people are critizising.

Hello there, I just wanted to chime in here with my own two cents.

First off, thank you OP (Hotaru in this case) for making this thread. This will hopefully make it easier to use as a resource. Before anyone asks, no, I didn't ask or request anyone to do this. Hotaru did this of their own volition.

Now as for picking the most egregious examples out there, that's not entirely accurate. The examples I use are of cases I saw where the evidence presented makes it clear that the person in question trolled and/or intentionally fed. That most of them happen to be very obvious is purely coincidental. It should also be noted that people punished for gameplay related behavior rarely post here (often because they know what they did wrong & have no need to post about it), so finding these kinds of cases is tricky.

This is especially true when you also consider the fact that some people like to delete their own threads/posts once proof of their behavior comes out (which side-note: I personally hate the fact that non-mods can do this because of this reason, and on other sites I frequent (that I don't mod for) this isn't possible).

Do I recognize that eliminating all trolls is impossible due to the nature of a F2P game? Yes I do. Do I think that the IFS could and should do a better job at accurately detecting and punishing poor gameplay behavior than it does now? Absolutely, and hopefully Riot will make improvements to improve it's reliability and accuracy. Do I think that because it's not perfect that the IFS is broken? No I don't because no system is or ever will be perfect, and imo it's unreasonable to expect perfection from something like this.
