Finally found a way to deal with toxic players

You can just move your chat box off the screen by pressing ENTER and then moving it all the way off to the side so no text is visible. AHHHH sweet sweet silence! no more muting premades 5 minutes into the match and no more muting random toxic players who feel they need to put their input into every last little thing that is ever said in a match even if it had nothing to do with them or even anything that was happening.

Iv'e never been happier playing league in the last year since this toxic uprising of players, now if only i could mute pings.... Can never stop those damn things sadly.

Some may say it's refusing to talk to your team, others will agree that i am simply fail-proofing myself from dealing with any more toxic players and being tempted to defend myself.

League reminds me so much of when i was in high school, even if you just defended yourself in a fight, you still got punished for not allowing the other kid to beat you up into a pulp.

This kind of system encourages bullying, and discourages defending yourself.

But now i have the solution to not even having to defend myself, by not having to deal with that kind of chat at all!

it's worth a shot but the reality is you're still gonna get gang reported and eventually punished.

Well, i base it off of champ select most of the time, if the players are already toxic in that, i'll move that chat box, i forgot to mention that part, i don't auto move the box off the screen, i only do it if champ select had toxic people already, and i just don't want any part of it.

They can't really report me for not typing to them though, that's not an offense, it's being the bigger person and not involving myself with it and dragging myself into the verbal fights.

Good on you! You're right, not saying anything to your team isn't something you can be punished for. Glad to see you take the high road!

It's taken me a long time to get to this mile stone xD I defended myself 1 too many times, and got punished for it, and i caught myself recently doing the same damn thing again, and since iv'e got so many more skins since then, id'e like to keep my account lmao.

Id'e rather be silent than perm banned anyday xD, hell, it even helps with just the stress of this game knowing i can simply not involve myself now haha.

Yup. I've found that, even when you're just defending yourself, it's usually an argument that is unwinnable. You're not going to change their opinion and they won't change yours, so it's not even worth the effort. I've spent like $1500 on League in the 5-6 years I've been playing, I've got original Championship Riven, all the champions, and I'm only 1 Fiddle skin away from having all of those too. I'd really like to keep those, so I'm not gonna risk anything.

I am done risking my account, it's just not worth it, i prolly only have about $300-500ish into my account, but that's still a lot to lose on a free game for something as silly as an argument.

He's clearly on a crusade against league players because he got banned. You can't use logic with these types of people.

Nope, so long as BagawkZor isn't doing anything wrong, they won't get punished. Doesn't matter how many people report them.

Not true, you can just be losing your lane, particularly when your teammates throw you under the bus, and get a validated report for intentional feeding. I've had two accounts banned for just this reason.

I've lost many a lane in my time and I've never once had a punishment, let alone an account banned. Not sure about your particular situation, but losing lane itself is not enough to have an account banned. If you've had two accounts banned for this, it leads me to believe there's something else going on that you're not mentioning.

Just last night I had a terrible game with. Veigar against a fizz. I went 3-10-7 or something and absolutely sucked and everyone knew it. I may have been reported, idk, but since i tried my best, and didn't try defending my shitty play, because I knew I played shitty, I didn't get punished. Try apologizing for sucking and dropping your ego, it might save your account.

Lol maybe that's your reality because you don't understand how Riots punishment system works so you "defend" yourself and consider that getting banned for no reason. But there's thousands of us who will never get punished because we aren't dense and illogical like you might be.

I've had zero punishments, having played heavily all the way back to Season 3. Even when I've gone 1/10 ADC. This doesn't happen often, but it has happened. :)

Personally, I just mute every single person in the game. No verbal fights, no "lol u suck" or "gg ez" anymore on my screen. I've conditioned myself to mute every single person in the game regardless or not if they're toxic or not, mainly because of consistent negative interactions with the community in the 5 years I've been here.

The community doesn't seem like it's going to change, so I'd rather just mute each game and save myself the hassle of dealing with people who are trying to instigate and harass me.

Kind of sucks in the postgame chat though. I wish the mutes would carry over in the postgame chat.
