14 Day Ban

No excuses, I played a game earlier today and it got heated, got jungle camped by an Eve like crazy while trying to learn a new champ. My team would not let up on how bad I was playing and I lost my temper and shot back with profanity and slurs. That's not who I am. I honestly can't even remember the last time I was punished. It's a 14 day ban, next step is permaban. 1 game, 1 bad game and 14 day ban. Not sure why it went that harsh that quickly. Whatever the reason, I'm making this post to apologize to the players that were in the game with me. There won't be a next time.

Specifically the "and slurs" part. Use of hate speech escalates you up the charts SUPER fast, especially if directed at another player. It can indeed happen from a single game.

That said, you're taking the right approach. It happened, it shouldn't have, it was unacceptable, and now you know to keep an eye on that to make sure it doesn't happen again. You've got this. :)

Next time, remember to mute if things start getting out of hand. Reactions are usually stronger than causation, so you'll get the brunt of the punishment. If it's a normals match usually I just admit I'm doing poorly, explain why, and report them if they're rude. Also, the new champ argument is usually countered with "go play bots" but bots aren't like normal games, and they're really only there to learn the very basics of the champion without really experiencing counterjungling, lane juggling and other real game experiences.

It's good of you to apologize. You rarely see that on these boards. Learning a new champ isn't fun, but you're willing to go out of your comfort zone, which makes you better than me (heya always open support position)!

Yeah man, I never quite learned my lesson on muting the dang people. My main got Perma 2 weeks ago for the exact same thing you just got banned for. The 2 penalties before my perm, SAME REASON. These people on league do their best to get under your skin, it's one of the few things that makes them happy. Sad sad world we live in where pleasure is only obtained by taking it from others.
