Off meta build reported in ranked

I was playing ap support and did descent with a score of 6/8/10 but when we lost my team all reported me and i got banned when our riven top and swain mid both fed hard and they beat us regularly and i want to know y riot would ban players who try to win over players who give up before 20 minutes pls and thanks

You absolutely 100% did not get banned for playing off-meta. Please check your reform card, and/or submit a ticket for more information.

Unless he plays Support Shaco a lot and people don't want him to (and report him) and he's not just sitting by the adc during laning. It can happen. but it is extremely rare. likely there was toxicity going on.

I mean yes, but the problem with him was stated as a lack of communication (specifically WITH the team... aka just doing what the team wanted because communicating TO was not enough. Just stating your intent (and not budging) was not deemed communication). A Lack of communication on his desire to play off meta... and that's why he was banned. To me, saying that you have to communicate to play off meta and that's why you're getting punished... might as well say you're banning them for playing off meta. Those conversations are going to be highly prone to anger, frustration, and toxicity because it's going to boil down to your team wanting you to play meta, and you not wanting to.

tldr; I still try to warn people since that story started with someone not playing meta as the catalyst of it all regardless of how Riot tried to spin it. I am NOT trying to be a dick (probably comes off that way), but just trying to voice it... which I should have probably responded to the OP in that case.

You got banned for something else. Pure and simple. I just made Elise Support work when there was some confusion. I played just fine, I'm not banned. Check the reform card or put in a support ticket to RIOT.
