Ranked and Clash -- Honor

Can someone tell me why honor is connected to both playing clash which is a game mode that you only play with your friends so whatever honor you have would no importance and ranked which is all about who can get the highest rank why should me getting rewards based on my rank have anything to do with what honor level i am. Honor 0 is bad enough but to have everything that isn't even related to that being thrown at you is just too much. I was looking forward to clash since the leak just telling everyone I know and what our team name should be but now because im not honor 2 i can't play with my friends which just pisses me off

Because low key if you're deemed toxic you probably wouldn't be fun to play with, especially over multiple games. Riot is protecting your friends from being exposed to your toxicity long-term.

Why should Riot reward you for being toxic? Play after their rules and you get your candy, that's how it works.

I guess they want clash to be something that isn't unlocked right away.

Riot classifies Clash in the same category of E-sports, where they welcome sportsmanlike behavior.

They don't want those that can't respect others on the field.

The same rule applies to alot of the tranditional organized sports.

Where does it say anything about Honor being connected to ranked or clash? I haven't read that yet and would like to read the post.
