Ranked and Clash -- Honor

Can someone tell me why honor is connected to both playing clash which is a game mode that you only play with your friends so whatever honor you have would no importance and ranked which is all about who can get the highest rank why should me getting rewards based on my rank have anything to do with what honor level i am. Honor 0 is bad enough but to have everything that isn't even related to that being thrown at you is just too much. I was looking forward to clash since the leak just telling everyone I know and what our team name should be but now because im not honor 2 i can't play with my friends which just pisses me off

Because low key if you're deemed toxic you probably wouldn't be fun to play with, especially over multiple games. Riot is protecting your friends from being exposed to your toxicity long-term.

But none of us are actually toxic we more just have banter so it doesnt change anything thats actually how i got my ban me and my friend were talking shit to each other and he reported me and banned me

Then maybe the problem lies with you and your friends reporting each other? Not Rito. If you don't have a full 5-man premade, then you should not be toxicity "bantering" with each other when there's a random or randoms in your team.

Ya that guy was a bit of an asshole and im not blaming riot i deserved the ban too what i said was unacceptable was just explaining to that guy how his statement makes no sense on weather or not i should play with my friends based on my status

Why should Riot reward you for being toxic? Play after their rules and you get your candy, that's how it works.

clash isnt a reward tho it's a game-mode like tt or aram it shouldn't be locked away for those with higher honor which also doesnt mean ur not toxic because honor is awarded to those that play better whether you're nice or not

You get rewards in form of loot from winning in clash. You get skinshards, wardskin shards and everything else you could imagine. Since Riot don't want toxic players to use their loot it should be obvious to not let them take part in it.

then don't let us have those rewards have a honor lock on the rewards not the game mode I don't give a damn about the rewards i just want to play ranked teams again

You're missing the point. You are annoyed that you can't play the mode, isn't that the whole reason why punishments exists? If you give a damn then the punishment then it is pointless.

the punishment is the 2 week suspention the honor drop was installed after wards with the release of honor but now they keep adding things that are locked with honor after i already got the punishment is just getting annoying im lucky i got my pbe account when i was still honor 5. The other thing is that when they announced the mode it it didnt have an honor lock and then i get banned a couple weeks later and the next time they talk about it there's an honor lock and its things like this that really annoy me

I was playing aram with a friend of mine and his gf and we call each other faots in rl all the time so in the game he wasnt getting in call with me, and when he afked i told his gf ; "tell the f**** to get on discord" and she said no and i kinda just played the game for the rest of the time he came back a couple minutes later and I was feeding hard because i got a champ i dont know how to play i ended something like 15/25 he didnt see the message i sent tho" after the game he reported me for int and added hate speech and toxic as the 2 other ones then i got banned The other thing is i got honored by everyone else on the team and he got permabanned after cuz the whole team reported him for toxic also he told me kms multiple times. so ya that was on me i should have known not to say things like that in chat but im still pissed clashe is honor locked, i am going to try to grind the honor back.

Riot classifies Clash in the same category of E-sports, where they welcome sportsmanlike behavior.

They don't want those that can't respect others on the field.

The same rule applies to alot of the tranditional organized sports.

It’s backwards which is the issue. Am I more likely to flame randoms or my friends? Randoms obviously. So keep me from playing with them my my friends.

and they're doing it because if you have lower than honor 2 you've likely been punished pretty recently and haven't reformed/reformed enough yet.
