The absolute most toxic thing you can type during a match, no contest...

Surrendering is so far beyond telling someone they're bad, telling someone to kill themselves, racial/homophobic slurs, and general flaming that it isn't even comparable. You can't mute someone's surrender vote, and if your team is equally as toxic and tilted, your game is forcefully ended.
Nothing tilts your team faster, nothing causes more rage, and nothing is more avoidable during a game. Why on Earth surrendering is an option before one single inhibitor has been taken is beyond me. You didn't queue up expecting the game to last twenty, thirty, or even forty minutes. You queued up expecting to play as long as it took to win, so that's what you should have to do. You not having fun isn't a reason, either.
"But I'm not wasting my time when I could start a new game I could win."
Guess what? You can win the game you're in. You always can. The 35/0/0 enemy Talon Master smurf mid could DC. It's a stretch, but that's part of the game. Turn-arounds exist, and honestly, they're way too common and often undeserved, so abuse them.
Surrendering should not be allowed before an inhibitor is down. At one inhibitor, it should be 5-0. After two, 4-1 is acceptable.
The worst part about this hands-down most infuriating and toxic part of League is that it isn't even taken seriously. Ranked bans exist now. So if people are going to get banned from ranked for flaming the enemy team (something that has nothing to do with their ability to win ranked) for 45 games, why aren't people getting 45 game ranked bans for spamming surrender votes more often than a Korean pro team in God damned scrims?
