Talk about one bad thing that is ''true'' and they like :

  • Downvotes on multiple accounts
  • Flaming in comments , '' l2p noob '' , last year when i used to make '' lee is op '' topics all i was getting is downvotes and '' lee falls off noob '' '' dodge his q retard '' from a lee one trick.

God i am now reading other topics and people are salty as hell towards the writer even tho he is right What the hell ?

EDIT : the other 20% are people like mira and malicious who talk in a polite and nice way and explain very well and have very good topics that lack this kind of sentences '' fuck your rito fukkk you ''

The problem is parents have been telling their precious Jimmy or Sally that they are special no matter what. Then they come here and say ignorant things and get ripped to shreds. Then they cry and whine because mommy and daddy lied to them. The real world is a tough place. Grow some thicker skin and learn to deal with it or you are going to have a very long and hard life.

The truth is that even when you are a saint board titles like: #80% of the boards' people are salty and angry don't seem like a breeding ground for discussion and seem more like a post to attract trolls.

I mean I don't fully disagree with you, the boards are filled with people that do nothing then talking down to other people(heck I am guilty of this even if I try to be better now). I have even seen post where the title was off and people posted without reading the text below.

example: post 1: Account banned people that int feed should have their account banned.

Comment: chat log or it didn't happen.(this comment has nothing to do with the post)

It doesn't really work that some of the writers(specially on pb&m) are often conspiracy nuts("riot banned my account because they want more money") or genuinely insane("why did I get banned for saying all <slur for people> should die"). After some time on the boards I often feel like posters are just here to complain.

Also when there is a circlejerk against things like champions and all post are around that for a while, people that disagree with these opinions are also treated like worse then dirt causing people to act like dicks in return.

so how do we go around fixing this

we can't fully fix it, if people disagree on the boards it generally causes flame storms and circlejerks.

As far as I see there is really only one way to truly change the balances around the salt. If you want the boards to be nicer, be the good example. Be the one that tries to remain civil. Be the one that never feeds the trolls that are only out for salt comments. It is generally true that the way to improve the world is to start with yourself, for you are the only thing that you can influence with some certainty.

oh and lastly some edit tips.

if you use a * before a summation and after 2 enters you get bullet points

so it looks like this in your post editor http://i.imgur.com/IZAQELC.png[IMG]

in your final chat it looks like this:

  • post
  • post2

Maybe if most people took at least five little second to think before they post, or, if they can't think properly (which is the case with 80% of the worlds population), just use the search field before posting, we wouldnt need to be salty.

Don't let the downvotes get to you, it happens a lot to completely reasonable threads. The flaming you mentioned isn't too bad either, I think you're expecting too much from these boards. It's full of players that come here to either complain or meme.

Remember, this board isn't any good for discussion. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, though here If there's two or three people who disagree when the thread's starting off the entire thing is swayed in favor of comment chains railing on you for having an opinion or shutting your thread down entirely with that powerful downvote system.

Just make threads in an ordinary fashion. If it's legitimate, it can take off. Just be thankful this isn't anything like the Overwatch community, where you talk about a certain character or technique everyone in the immediate vicinity will grab you by the fucking balls and make you rue the day you wanted to make discussion.

well ... what do low ELOs (50% of the people are S5 and below) know about the game?

they don't understand powerspikes, they have bad macro, they don't understand matchups, and don't know how to stall till late game when behind.
