I hope its just preseason that is making all these people troll/quit/give up

Or I wont be around very long into the season. Its every other game you have a troll, someone who just doesnt want to win, and will do their best ot make sure you don't. I hope its just because its preseason and doesnt matter. I know you hvae them anyways, but damn man I just came back and its absolutely crazy how many people just intentionally lose games because of petty crap. If its not my team with the random raging troll or just intentional thrower, its the enemies. I might have 1 actual good game out of 10 it seems, that someone isnt doing one of these things on my team or the enemies. I'm not even talking ragers; I'm talking people who don't want to win at all. Just want you to lose on purpose.

I my memories, since the ardent cancer meta people we're already giving up a lot :v so i don't think it's "just the preseason" that is making them troll int quit giving up etc

people not caring/wanting to win is a side effect of matchmaking. every game that uses matchmaking has these players. try playing some overwatch and see how many games you get where everyone is actually trying to win. its not many.

in a matchmaking system like LoL it is setup so that you will win 50% of your games. no matter how good or bad you are you will end up with around a 50% winrate. that means every time you win you are going to have to lose for it later. thats the only way you can end up at 50%.

so what is the motivation to win? not much.

It doesn't surprise me with the way the meta is right now. If your team even falls behind like 2/3 kills within the first 5-10 minutes, it's easier to just afk/give up and ff at 15 because of how cheap items are for bot/assassins right now.

so many bad players and afkers and trolls, smh I lost tons of ranked matches bc someone on my team was either hardcore feeding then becoming toxic af or just straight up trolling. I wish riot would compensate our series lose bc of that one troll teammates, but alas that's not practical.
