7-day ban nonexistent?

So, 7 months ago I got my first ban. It lasted 14 days, and I deserved it. Pretty surprised that it went straight to the second last tier of bans. Read that it took roughly 3 months for it to drop down to 7-day ban territory. Fast forward to today, got another ban. And it was another 14-day ban. Let my anger get the best of me, darius became super fed and would 1 hit me with ult. (VERY ANNOYING)!!!!!! Wondering if they just straight up removed 7 day bans or I'm just so bad they put me back at 14.

There was never a 7 day ban. And unfortunately there is no way to repeal a ban of any type.

7-day bans have never been a thing to my knowledge. The tiers are currently as follows:

10 game chat restriction
25 game chat restriction
14 day suspension
Permanent suspension

You effectively have 3 chances. If you screw it up there is no recourse. Tread carefully friend.

I got my first ban in 3 years of playing just yesterday, skipped straight to a 2 week ban. I think I may have had a 10 game chat restriction last year but thats it.

There were 7-day bans back in the early seasons, but I think those were for leaving (before LPQ). I don't remember off hand if they had them for behavioral issues, too.
