@Moderation- Can anyone explain ;)

About 13 days ago I got a 7 day ban from the boards, this was the only time I have received a even a warning. What I'd like to understand is why I got a severe suspension and I'd ask anyone to look into my comments to see if I broke the rules. Yes, I have tried to send a ticket and Yes I am letting go my privacy rights ..I only ask that someone look into this suspension. Please !

I have read my comments and re-read them, I see nothing wrong with calling out someone who changed their own OP and following comments many times to make Riot look bad. When I challenged this poster 3 times, Yes I called foul every time I saw them change the comments they made public here, when I did that poster reported me for harassment.

Is it harassment if you are telling the truth ?? When I feel I told the truth and never hit that report button against this individual ? I ask Not for people to go against the Mods/Rioters, simply to make a point that individuals that have a problem with Riot or Mods, can simply come on This board and ask for help.

Whether, I am wrong or right I believe Riot and staff will give me a fair look.

Heya,

I reviewed your post removals, all three of them, and in all cases they were removed for harassing another player. Regardless of whether or not someone modifies the content of their post or not, calling them a liar and other names in your posts directed at them is considered harassment. If you don't like someone's way of communicating, just move on to a new discussion, downvote their posts, or report them if they break the Universal Rules. This is the same thing asked of you in-game. Engaging someone you disagree with via name-calling never turns out well.

As for the duration of the suspension, since it was only the third post removal for you, it should have been a 1 day suspension based on the comments made. I'll forward this feedback along.

Just because something might be true doesn't mean it isn't rude to put it out there. I think you know whether it's rude or not. I have no idea what got you a forum ban, but if you got banned immediately without prior warnings it was either bad enough to warrant that, or had been going on too long before the moderators caught it. It's entirely up to you whether you want to report the other person if they were acting the same way, but just because you're ok with it doesn't mean they are.

Submitting a ticket won't really do you any good generally, because they leave the moderation to the moderators. Posting here to get in contact with the moderator who banned you is generally the correct place.

This is a good point, however I've never called anyone a retard or even somewhat similar.

Per forum rules, I may not name and shame and I will not do this. In fact I adhere to the rules of the boards, If however someone breaches an unwritten rule, then how shall we deal with them ?

Do we now as a culture let the person lie and do nothing or should we stand up and say "This is not the way to act" even if it means intimidate board suspension ?

I choose and I will choice to speak up and stand my ground and trust the system :)

I'm going to make a statement and I hope that every decent person takes a moment to consider this:

If someone complains about Riot and uses terms and statements that are not the truth, then changes such statements to fit their own story to enhance their own perspective, is it fair to let said person deceive others to gain favor?

I say No it is not. I have offered myself to befriend many people on this very board and have spent time talking to what most would consider troubled people on my own time.

What most impresses me is that Riot staff spend free time doing just this thing and get nothing but grief, and I hope not to compile that by this statement...only to enlighten more to be firm yet Not Rude...

And understand that one does Not have to be an Ass to get Riot's attention. Just be patient and things will work out! Thanks for reading.

What caused you to be suspended?

I got suspended for 24 hours after saying that Illaoi looked like a byke with a d at the beginning (Yes, 1984 style censorship woo hoo). What did you say that was at least worthy of 700% of the punishment I got?

I said nothing like that :) I didn't break the rules as I know them..You want to know what got me a 7 day? I can only guess and here it is ..Thanks for asking Friend...

I thought I explained it but maybe I didn't... Someone Lied and I called the person out for the blatant lie that Riot can prove if they look up the records.

Honestly, I don't understand why Riot won't ? I believe that if enough people will say something on this thread we can get an answer to the question !

Why Riot won't you make a stand about Lies on the boards and changing comments without regard to posters who read them? I don't know but I'm at least as tired of this as the usual bs answers such as .."I did nothing wrong"

I did do something.....I called someone who changed their posts at least 3 times a LIAR...So

I have advocated that this board explains why people get punishments and I have believed this.

I Now ask Why I have been suspended in my opinion wrongly, Yet I cast no blame !!

I only ask to publicly explain why I have been suspended when I only repeated quotes and asked for justice for when someone obviously told an untruth !!

I Firmly believe Riot and the Mods and whoever else will come forward with this problem that is beginning to be a huge distraction.

I realize how old this post/thread is and I took a long look at myself and my behavior on the boards. I'd like to make clear to any reading this that Mods/Rioters can and will answer legit questions and concerns that any of us have.

Not everyone will like the answers, yet here is the proof that posters can get the questions they have answered. I'm not going to argue or try to get another response although if any feel the desire to respond to what I post then do feel free to put up your opinions ! Including but not limited to any anyone affiliated to Riot games :)

Now I'd like to review what went down that day that I got my 1st ever warning and suspension here or in-game...What I don't want: is to imply that breaking the rules knowingly or unknowingly is Kool, including myself. I broke some rule and I accept this, let me be clear about this fact !!

I'd like to say a # of things yet this post is already TL:DR....Look to my next post if interested in what I have to say.

I have repeatedly read and reread what I typed that day and how I felt when I typed those comments, I had no malice in my heart albeit my words may have sounded as harsh as I meant them to sound. I have no tolerance for people who change their own opinions to make others look bad or themselves look better.

In this vein I'd like to summit to all of us that at times people who Do have malice in their words get away with saying mean things and sometimes a person who actually cares about others gets caught up in this.

I am self assured in myself to know that what the other poster said was wrong and repeatedly changed to incite others to speak out about things and not in a productive way is not the type of things I'd like to read nor allow others who know nothing about this type of behavior read unaware that this happens to often.

This is what bothers me now, I will move on my way and yet others will still try to use this very same avenue to get readers of this forum to believe that Riot plays favorites or is only motivated my $ ( a company should be motivated by this btw: to give us a free game) yet the very same people who post deceiving things as such only do so for their own reasons.

This type of thing bothers me and I will say that in the future, I hope that such matters will be taken into consideration when comments are deleted or changed for the purpose of misrepresentation...I myself am fine with what happened and the opportunity to at least express my concern.

Can't really judge since we don't know which post it was that had an issue.

On a side note I'm surprised they're lenient enough to give out warning before suspension. Once I was immediately suspended without warning nor estimated time to be unbanned on the board and I had no complaint since they did tell me afterwards what I said that could make the public uncomfortable and consequences would follow to enforce their terms.
