Ranked Toxicity...any solution for the solo player?

League Ranked has just as many game ruining players if not more than in the past.

I have really appreciated the lengths Riot has gone to in order to try to prevent toxicity. I like the role selection, it seems legit like Riot is trying to get people to play the game properly. Unfortunately, they aren't doing that at all. Everyone is a toxic little brat that doesn't know how to play, and when you try and tell them what they need to do so as a team you can win the game, they explode with rage at you instead of focusing on the game...they feed intentionally, AFK instead of contesting objectives...spam pings for you to get back as if the pings actually help you fight the enemy...when they are like ten yards away watching the whole thing and doing nothing about it.

Look, I know toxicity is present even in regular draft games. It's there, and it is more or less a constant feature. It's something the players have to deal with every single day. But it's WORSE in ranked. As soon as someone makes a mistake...it's like...the game is over. They do everything they can to lose, because they're embarrassed...so much so that they can't play anymore. Pride is too intrinsic to the experience. Something has to be done about these players that value their pride and embarrassment so much that they're willing to lose instead of work together.

Otherwise, why let them play ranked at all? If we can't get them to play the game properly, that is, to work together as a team to win the game, which is the most basic of the basics...then why aren't they banned from some game mode or another? What's the point of giving out Victorious Skins only to people that get lucky with the matchmaking or who find friends to grind with? If this means I have to grind games with friends to ever get to gold and beyond...fine...but don't pretend like a solo player is satisfied by all this. And no...I don't think giving us solo queue is going to solve all our problems. Obviously we can't know for sure how often we get parties on our team in ranked, and I'm sure they are a huge problem, but it's the toxicity itself, the throwing games for no good reason that is making the game unplayable for people like me, people that are alone and just want to apply some intellect to solving problems...and getting some recognition for their intelligence. That's not something doable in an arena that only cares about how lucky you are to play with non-brain dead people or how likeable of a friend you are and how sane those friends of yours are.

Does Riot need to ban solo players from playing ranked? - Because I'd rather be banned from playing ranked unless I find a friend or multiple friends than to put up with the horrible attitudes of the current player base.

It sounds to me like what your problem is is that you think you know how to play the game perfectly, are probably sharing that knowledge with your team, and they do not appreciate said knowledge. Your teammates got placed in the same elo you did. Most people don't want to lose on purpose, most people in low elo are doing the best they can with the knowledge they have. They need to learn for themselves what the limitations of their champion and mechanical skill is. And honestly, while you may think you have the right answer, chances are that other players also probably think they have the right answer, too. Which is why low elo is so toxic, a bunch of people who don't actually know anything fighting amongst each other.

I'm not playing in your games, but I know that if someone told me how to play, I would find that pretty infuriating. We all make mistakes, especially at lower elos, and you should accept it and move on. Rather than trying to fix everyone else around you, maybe you should focus on your own gameplay. There's that old adage, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Try it, and see if the toxicity around you lessens.

You can't change how the other people in your game play. You cannot take over their champion and play for them. All you can do is try your best. If you're good, you'll climb. If people are toxic toward you for no reason, mute them and move on.

Before the match starts let them know your muting them and worry about you, and use pings.

Just uninstall. Its like all your problems go away the moment you quit. Its AMAZING!! I would recommend the uninstallment package IMMEDIATELY as it satisfies every customer to not want to kill every person in their game anymore. Also, if you reply to any of these passive aggressive toxic assholes, umm riot thinks you are toxic and just bans you on the spot even though you are not the problem. So you know, i am gonna warn you about that. Just refrain from responding to them. if they are assholes, just mute them. Or you could UNINSTALL! WHOOO GO PLAY MORE FUN GAMES.

It's possible to hard carry your lane solo many times. If you do this its rare people will be toxic.

I've just been crushing it lately and it's very rare people are toxic towards me or each other on my team.

I suggest finding a streamer that plays the char you like and learning all the tricks you can to hard carry a lane.

The only true way to find peace in LOL is to destroy your opponent badly before the 20 minute mark.
