So is it okay for people to get away with feeding?

On a few separate occasions, I talked to RiotLaslow about a couple unfortunate situations with toxicity, and he said it's ok for people to troll as long as they don't do it too often. Is this really Riot's official stance or is he just not paying attention to Riot's rules? There's many people who get away with atrocious feeding and toxicity because they know the system won't catch them if they do it only once in a while, that needs a fix.

you should post a screen shot of what he writes to avoid misintepretations.

Also depends on your definition of "troll"

  • Muck around and have fun ? sure, have fun. just not at other people's expense
  • Off meta? Some people call that trolling, it certainly is allowed
  • Feeding alot? Sure. some people are bad at the game, and you can't fault them for playing against a stronger opponent. That's just how match making works.

  • Intentional feeding? Nope, that isn't allowed
  • Using your skills to annoy your team mates (such as using Tahm Kench to eat your team mates and spit them out into the enemy)? Nope, that isn't allowed
  • AFK (or AFK farming) as a griefing tool? nope, that isn't allowed as well

Was he saying it's okay for people to just goof around and have some fun, silly games every now and then without worrying about being punished for it? Or was he saying it's okay to deliberately troll and try to ruin a game because you won't be punished for only doing it once in a while? There's a pretty big distinction there. The first is actually allowed by the summoner's code, provided you are not doing it to deliberately piss off your team and cost them the game. The second is not allowed by the code, not even once. But it can be difficult to catch and punish people for isolated instances of trolling.
