IME, the average honor level 5 player is someone that plays the majority of the time with 2-4 friends, and sometimes that means someone like me doesn't have a fun time with them. It seems like a spit in the face for those of us that are honor level 1-4 to have to deal with the elitism of those that are higher honored but don't actually seem to be honorable. They just managed to farm honor faster than us.

That’s a great idea. Luckily, we’ve broken a few systems in our day, too. So we specifically built Honor so potential exploits like this give you (and your friend) literally no benefit.
Or you can read the full Honor FAQ here for more information on how the system works. Yes, it'll take you longer to gain honor if you don't play as much or don't have a positive behavior, but people who play premades to farm honor don't actually get benefits from doing that; either.

SanKakU1 votesYou're wrong. A premade can decide to elevate one of their players intentionally regardless of their honor value each game. This creates a guaranteed honor point for them equal to what other players have to work hard to earn in a competitive environment with other players.
IOW, if you play with friends, they can give you honor twice 100 percent of the time which is equal to a player being honored in all of their games by one player. Considering you can only honor one player per game, it's mathematically impossible for everyone else to go up in honor as high as someone being singled out by their friends. If the statistics were showing 100 percent participation, which obviously will never happen since honor submissions time out, and there is an opt out button as well, then this still wouldn't be possible because groups of players still play with other players, and those same groups are honoring each other.

I play almost exclusively solo queue in all normal, ranked solo, and ranked flex. I play premade maybe once or twice every 2 weeks or something because my friends usually not online when I am (mostly because i dont have a set time when i get online, it could be 1am, 4am, 10am, or 3pm, etc.).
I just reached honor 5 last night playing 99% solo in all modes (about to have a run at solo'ing flex ranked before season ends).
When i was honor 1-4, i dont experience any of this elitism you are talking about when i play with honor 5 solo or premade (same club tag, etc.) who had the flair as a honor 4. Can you further explain what you mean by spit in your face or this elitism?
SanKakU1 votesI play a lot of fill so I end up getting stuck playing support for groups of players and when I try to work things out with my lane partner I get mercilessly flamed and the entire team turns against me. Like the game I just got banned for, I told the Vayne she should have followed through with my exhaust instead of poking a tank that wasn't even worried about her.
Well, I'm done playing fill. I used to be a fill main but now I've gone back to not believing in mains again.
zPOOPz1 votesI dont play fill (mostly because i have nearly permanent autofill protection). I play 95% support with an occasional mid and rarely top when my support is taken. I would say I rarely get flame (does happen like 1 out of 25 games, which i muted immediately) by team even if I took the most kills on the team or took more than a few cs. I really dont believe in the "this only happen in such and such elo). Just my personal experience with this game. I also use the mute function quite liberally whenever someone want to start something (even if not against me)
