I got a duo troll pair in my game. Made the mistake of talking back to the trolls (if you don't know riot promotes trolling you haven't been paying attention) so I get the 10 game chat restrict, while the trolls get nothing. Yea same old Rito.

So let me get this straight:
You are a super wise and learned individual. You appear to have a good understanding of the flaws in Riot's punishment system. This is all well and good.
The part that gets me is this: Despite knowing all of this, you still let the trolls play you and got yourself punished.

Do you see the irony of your post? Kind of hard to point blame at Riot if you're dumb enough to get played by a couple trolls.
The problem is that the system for detecting "Smart trolls" or people that try to fuck up games while rarely typing in chat is pretty bad vs verbal abuse. Someone goes 1/10 and someone else has a chat log of things like "Report X trolling" "Fucking X, you fucking piece of shit troller" etc etc. Unless that troller is making it obvious and just running down the lanes over and over, it can be hard to determine if they're really trolling or just having a bad game.
Riot has admitted this themselves and they're working to improve the system but it's a very tricky thing to get right.
I had a similar argument between me and Chermorg, and he advocates for ruining games so long as it's only one every now and then, when Riot's supposed stance is that it's not ok to ruin any games and that people who do should be punished. Granted, talking here is not going to yield any results because, like you suggested, Riot doesn't care.
ya i like that you can get banned but no one else gets punished mentality. even though you are in the same game.
I'm doubtful that you could possibly verify if those players were punished, since Riot doesn't tell you every time that they punish somebody you have reported.

Sadly, your complaints about your 10 game restriction are entirely devoid of logs concerning the information surrounding (what I can only assume to be NOT your fault) how it occurred. As such, your post is incomplete. Might I suggest a screenshot of chat logs? Perhaps a clipping of your teammate calling your mom a w* while you put black boxes over the 18 messages you sent him telling him to kill himself? Need more info in order to analyze please
