Can we actually give supports credit?

When lands a 5-man ult and I destroy enemy team as , I don't want to get recognition, and I feel disgusted when I get more than .

As a mid/top main, I feel ashamed when supports make the whole play/set up a perfect teamfight/land the perfect Q/peel like bosses and everyone congratulates the carries. Like wut? I feel like most supports feel discouraged and I can say I feel you guys even though I only supp when autofill, not being congratulated when you land that Q which stopped enemy 's Q does suck hard.

TLDR : Please give supports more credit. They probably have more impact than you on the game, although you can't see it at first sight.

It would be nice. I won't go out of my way to ask for thanks but I'd like some recognition outside of "why don't you have sightstone yet?"

This is just a theory... but I suspect that for many support mains, they don't actually have the same "need" for praise that some of the more carry oriented roles have. I've mained support pretty much since I started playing, and honestly, I am waaaay harder on myself than my team will ever be. One example you used was stopping a Lee Sin Q. I love playing Thresh/Janna just for the challenge of being able to stop him. And even if my team doesn't say a word, if I manage to save a carry with less than 100 hp from a flashing-ulting-qing Lee Sin... Imma feel awesome the rest of the night. At least until I fail flash into a wall a minute later. =p

No, no, no. Don't give us any credit. As soon as we start getting credit, my queue times will jump above 30 seconds. I can't have that happening. :P

When I go 17/1 as ADC (it does happen occasionally), I usually comment that it's easier to play ADC when I have a good support.

Credit goes to where credit is due. Set things up right and get it done good job. When I'm doing the supports job as the adc then no you don't get credit for being nearby
