I gave my account info to a friend like 3 years ago because I lost my computer. Well I finally got a new one, finally remembered my login, and he got me perma banned. I spent so much money on this account back in the day and I just want my account back.. I saw the chat logs and he was definitely in the wrong.. How do I go about getting this fixed? I submitted 2 tickets to riot, now im just praying

  1. It doesn't sound like the ban was placed in error by your admission.

  2. Account sharing is a perma-bannable offense.

Either of those will not get your account unbanned.

Even if your account is not banned, kind of shitty thing to do to ask for something you gave away 3 years ago back. Had your friend not been super toxic to get it banned, he would had lose all the time, efforts, and possibly money invested into it not knowing you will want it back 3 years later.

finally remembered my login

doesn't even sound like you're asking for it back from your friend.

Unfortunately, there's no way to get this situation fixed. Account sharing in and of itself is a punishable offense, and it's punished with a permanent ban - so even if they were to hypothetically overturn the just ban your friend incurred, they would still leave your account banned for account sharing.

Would that there was any better news.

The punishment itself was warranted (you admitted he broke the rules) but account sharing is a severe offense. Even if you somehow managed to get the original punishment overturned, you would be permanently banned for account sharing. Sorry.

Unfortunately, make a new acc, and don't share the login info with anyone. (Oh ofc, and forget about the old one.)

EDIT: I just added Unfortunately since all the special guys here did that :D

I trust my friends. I have given them keys to my house after different times. I have never shared a password with them, ever.

Hell, I don't share passwords with my wife!

Even so, I would not call this person a friend, at least not anymore. Friends don't ruin each other's property.
