This behavior in ranked is absolutely unacceptable

In my last ranked game, I had a Kassadin mid who refused to group with the team for most of the time. He mostly pushed by himself and that resulted in being ganked by an Irelia. When we were all four at mid and all five of the enemy mid as well, he would be top. Even after we pinged for assistance, he would reply with that they are all fed and that he doesn't want to die despite feeding the Irelia. He doesn't even need to be all the way in the fight, if he could support the rest of the team we could've won most of our team fights easily. Then after a few minutes, he backed and afk'd for about four minutes and walked out of base to go back top. He would continue this cycle each time he died to Irelia. It got quite annoying until we had two open inhibitors and he was up top while he was at base for another four minutes while we defended. We lost the game, my teammates are pretty pissed at Kass for doing what he did to cause our game to lose.

Now for the entire duration of the game, he called us children when we refused to surrender ( We were only behind on three kills at that time) and when we explained that we still had a chance, he completely dissed us and refused to benefit the team. And for the moral of the story, it doesn't matter whether you think you're going to lose or win a game, you need to benefit the team as much as you can. It doesn't matter if your team doesn't shine bright as the other team, whatever you do, you could either make a positive impact or a negative one on the game. Synchronize with your team; this is a team game after all. Don't AFK because, like I said, you could make a big impact. Don't flame, there are other people in the game (including the enemy team) and none of us want to hear the crap that you spill, it's annoying and it makes you seem like a complete idiot doing so. You have to take in account that this game, ranked, affects all of us in the game as a whole. You won't cooperate with your team? Bam, 15 lp down the drain. Does anyone want that? No, we absolutely do not, so please try your best and if we lose, take it gracefully and don't harass your teammates for all of their mistakes because I assure you, you made a lot more mistakes in comparison to them. (Plus it's funny when we see you still in lobby dishing out reports even though you were the only one that was toxic)
