Well, the moment you can't determine the fine line between roughhousing and harassing, you have a problem. Also be wary of the type of people you're playing against. Test them waters!
Trash talking is allowed however it cannot be harassing/offensive in nature. No racist, prejudiced, sexist, etc... kind of talk. And this also includes frequency. You can't do it so often that it's actually harassing them.
So going in a lane you can't start calling people n----r or f----t and what not because that's not trash talking. You're just being a terrible human being.
But if you steal a dragon at the last second, you can say something like "Thanks for dragon!"
Lol this question kind of reminds me of one of my ranked games when I typed in all chat glhf and the enemy brand was like "stfu" and then I told the enemy team Janna that I loved her skin and then brand was like "Sona stfu" xD obviously I muted him so I can concentrate on my game better.
I remember there was a video where Phreak actually said trash talk is allowed however, it was qualified that trash talk wasn't abusive, harassing, offensive, etc... I don't want to go through every single video they ever made to find the quote... someone else can do it though!
