This chat log is not toxic enough to count considering the things they were saying to me. Getting 4-man tag team flamed yet riot doesn't care about what they say or how they're non-stop soliciting the enemy to report me. Riot only punishes the person that everyone gangs up on and reports.

Who do i believe... Board rando who admitted he got punished, or the guy who literally coded the system and publicly posted the code that checks for reports to prove number of reports dont matter. Hmm.

The number of players reporting you does not matter.

The reason you were punished here is because these lines are insults, and insulting other players isn't allowed. Whether you got one report or nine, this behavior isn't acceptable.

The number of players reporting you doesn't matter
That's the game that got you punished but not the first game you got reported in.
It's mild but still counterproductive. I'd not report personally but can see why you got reported.

Reporting a Player (things to avoid)

Do not ask other players in the match to report the offending player.** It only takes one report for our systems to review a game. Additional reports will not do anything for the offending player**; however as mentioned above, it could open yourself up to a report of your own; especially if you are derailing the match by constantly demanding reports of other players.

The amount of people reporting does NOT matter, the context in your chat logs does NOT matter. A valid report that is reporting a toxic player, no matter how many are reporting, you can get punished.

This looks to me like a chat log from a game where you were already chat restricted.

If, during a chat restriction, you dedicate all your chat to arguing, it makes sense for the system to punish you again because you're still committing the offense.
