I've heard several times that irrespective of context, some things should not be said. But I think, without context nothing is really an insult. here is a video explaining this:

You're arguing from a position of privilege and fragility. It's not how you mean it that counts, it's how the community or environment takes it. That's the nature of society. If League culture were different, then some of those words might be tolerated, but that isn't the case.

You are using a photo of a complex situation to compare to someone being toxic in a game's chat? There is no reason to use cussing or derogatory words in a game. So yea, it's pretty easy to guess what you are doing if you use them. IF you are just randomly spouting them off (so not really being toxic) you are still being disruptive. And certain words are generally considered a no-no either way, because people find them offensive whether they are in a sentence or not.

The context of toxic chat is: You typed something and pressed enter. The additional context that fully explains the situation around it: Someone in the game reported you.

Yep. Context matters, just not the way you seem to think.

I remember this being brought up in my global issues class in highschool. Good vid.

Even with context, every form of communication can be non-insulting. It is up to the individual whether they become insulted.
