@LYTE I KNOW HOW TO REDUCE TOXICITY. Probably been suggested before.

Just add a squelch option next to the mute button... If you don't know about it, squelching stops the squelchee from hearing you... if you just squelch as crap player who's pissing you off, you can talk all the shit in the world to them, and they'll never hear it. You, as a behavior "specialist" should know that venting is the #1 way to relieve stress and frustration.

You have a built-in squelch function. If you want to scream at your teammates, do so. Just don't type it. It's even less effort than typing, so there's no reason to type it.

Your "solution" seems disingenuous, since you could prevent your rant target from seeing you talk shit, yet your team would still see it. Sounds an awful lot like ridiculing someone to others behind his back.

Number 1 as in most common? Perhaps.

Number 1 as in most effective? Not so much.

Turns out venting negatively is prone to increasing stress, rather than relieving it.

OP wants Riot to implement an option for toxic player to continue to be toxic, throw tantrums, both of which undermine Riot's own Terms of Service.

Not happening.
