Just a reminder, the report system does work.

I know exactly how the system works. I also know it's failure rate is incredibly low, with an insanely high success rate.

I also know that trolls and feeders are banned. And here's the thing: you don't see people complaining about it here on the boards because they know exactly what they did wrong.

They have different systems for feeders and AFKs, ones that actually can determine those things (for instance: they can tell when you are just moving around in fountain). It takes longer to punish them because you have people that troll report, or people that are just having a horrible game. It makes certain that the person is actually a troll before issuing a punishment, and it's much harsher then chat based ones.

I don't understand why people are down voting this, you're completely right. There's basically no punishment for intentional feeders and trolls because the system fails to recognize differences between bad play and intentional trolling where as swearing at a teammate three games in a row is almost a guaranteed chat restriction, it's fact.

I think you severely miss the point of reporting people for harassment/verbal abuse. It's not there to say "Oh, this person called me a bad name," as much as you may want to imagine it. It's there to report people for being disruptive, rude, and unproductive to the team.

So far based on how you present yourself, I can see that you're probably that kind of person that has it coming.

The sensitive ones here are those who rage at/insult everyone and expect them to just sit there and take it. If you can't keep a handle on your own emotions without putting the blame on everyone else for reporting you, then you've no business playing the game.

I've not flagged anything as offensive. Seriously, it's very hard to offend me.

However, for someone who's mad at the report system, you sure do show no signs of improvement. Almost as if this is how you've always acted, like a selfish brat that feels self-entitlement to an online videogame.

As Wolfenstein said, it's there to report people who are a general disruption to the team or who display unsportsmanlike conduct. The system won't ban you just for spouting out a bunch of naughty words, but it will ban you if you say stuff like "eat my balls you thieves". And, most importantly, it will do this if you repeatedly say these things, after you have been punished previously multiple times.

Nope, sorry. I may have a "fragile ego" as you like to put it, but at least I'm smart enough not to say stupid things in chat that will get me punished.
