Is it just me or is this pre-season way more toxic than the game has been in ages?

I might just be an outlier here but 60% of the games I've played since pre-season has been full of flame and aggressive ping spamming over 1-2 deaths, if that. I have been playing most of last couple years including the pre-seasons and it feels like there's so many people running around being jerks getting unpunished for it. I understand the punishment system is progressive and its for good reason but the past 30 or so games I've played while there's plenty of good ones I find myself muting and reporting people way more than I have in a long time. Is it just people coming back from hiatus or is aggressive behavior just being ignored unless you outright cuss out someone?

Not to try and give reasoning to people being aggressive/toxic but I believe it has something to do with frustration based on the new system directed in game and frustration at people not knowing how to use the new rune system.

this is exactly the type of unintended consequence a totally unfair and poorly designed game regulation system has on gameplay. told ya, hahaha

im more annoyed by the fact that i can only play a restricted amount of champions .. its like trying to do something but every match has the same outcome.

had an ezreal in todays match, it pretty much went like: 0 vs 28, ezreal 10/0 @6min

the games are shorter but you are forced by the system to sit through 20-60min matches even tho the matches are over @ 10min

People who can't afford therapists.

People who are too crazy to realize they need a therapist.

Some peoples' kids.
