After only six and a half years, Riot has finally determined that disconnected players make ranked games just a tiny bit unfair. Pedantic nerd that I am, I've been keeping track and I compute I have had 5 remakable games this season on my team and only 3 on the opposing team. Couldn't I get 2 wins worth of lp out of this?
Rankings don't work like that. MMR isn't an experience bar that is filling up. It is a measurement You can't just add the points back later becuase they do not have equal value at each rank.
If you lose 1000 games in bronze to AFK's you wouldn't be challenger had those afks not happened. Those losses cause you to be matched against easier opponents which has or will eventually lead to winning games you would have lost. Individual games have very minor impacts on your rank anyway.
